Sunday shakes!


The girls had a blast taking turns to swim in the sea. I can’t wait to work on it more. Swimming is such a good confidence builder and a good low impact exercise. Are you a swimmer?

Pictures are always so special to me. Looking back at them and remembering what we got up too.. ah yes this one.
We all know country parks are full of squirrels.. well. Imagine finding out that dottie has an insane prey drive for SQUIRRELS... whilst being surrounded by them. Such fun. We are now putting training in place for her prey drive. 🐿

Please can we play more?!


Lottie absolutely loves playing with the pocket squeaker in the garden. We are hoping to build up the value of it to use it as a reward on walks. Playing tug with your dog is not only so much fun but it helps with bonding and can be a massive reward in training! Dottie never tugs yet this is the first time she’s it done so with us. Her first ever time was with using their tug-e-nuff tug! Would you like to hear our progress with it? Who plays tug with their dog?

Devon is so scenic it’s unreal. I took my camera with me and got so little photos and I’m not even mad about it. It was nice to have a proper break without taking photos.

Saying that, I do want to travel more and document it with photos! The amount of times I noticed a place and thought ‘That would be amazing for photos!’

Please say I’m not the only one like this - Photography is my absolute passion. I may not be the greatest at it, and I’m still learning but it’s so fun!📷

Last weeks rain is not missed one bit. Who’s enjoying all the sun?! ☀️


Since Lottie finished her season she has been displaying unwanted behaviours that we want to resolve. It’s not helped that she is having a phantom pregnancy so her hormones are getting the better of her! She is now increasingly barking at people coming to the door and walking past. That’s our main issue at the moment, which I’ll be working on a lot!

Always aim high, but don’t get discouraged by a few setbacks. Keep a positive attitude and keep moving forward...

Since Dottie coming home I’ve been training so much. This last week I’ve really slacked on training and I need to get back into it all! Setting individual goals for the girls to focus on is a must to combat the issues that need to be resolved ASAP. Lottie is my main focus in this, surprisingly! I’ll explain Lotties behaviour in tomorrow’s post!

The best view comes after the hardest climb!

I love nothing more than exploring with our girls. If I could, I’d take them everywhere with us! Since Dotties training any excuse to take the girls out I take! I’m constantly trying to figure out ways to bring them with me for training. It’s so fun!

Our little ray of sunshine ☀️


How have you spent your Sunday? We’ve had a whole day of training. Dottie had a earlier walk and she was more aroused than usual. We are getting over her chasing birds which we had progress with today. But she is still anxious with dogs running fast near her - so we sit down together and watch them with lots of positive praise and treats.
Lottie had one of her first walks with just a collar and lead to learn how to heel. She knows exactly how to heel within 20 minutes... such a smart girl! I then sat outside the house with both girls. Lottie barks when people walk past which is what we will be working on a lot!

I smile because I am your daughter. I laugh because there’s nothing you can do about it!

Lottie just cannot help but give dottie so much loving! She’s constantly giving her kisses. If dottie is in the room and Lottie has her food she won’t eat it so dottie can have it all! (Of course we tell dottie not to eat it!) - she just LOVES to share! The endless amounts of time she will take Dottie’s toy from her mouth and find it hilarious running around teasing her with it is ridiculous 😂. Having a mother and daughter duo is the best 💖

Do you have any restrictions with dogs on beaches? Dogs are only allowed on certain sections throughout the summer and allowed on all of it throughout the winter! What’s the best beach adventure you’ve ever been on?

Don’t hide your flaws.. wear them with pride.


Lottie has just come out of season! She needs a bath then we will be happy to take her out (We are always those over cautious parents!) No dog is perfect and they all have their ‘flaws’ as such. Lottie’s season couldn’t have come at a better time, because we’ve had a couple of weeks to just focus on Dottie out of the house. And now it’s perfect for them to go on their walks together (still having separate walks a couple of times a week) Spending time working with them on their own always helps us concentrate on their individual needs for training 😊

Positive training puts emphasis on teaching dogs what to do, not continually punishing a dog for not doing what we want...

Just a reminder for you all to think about. If you agree to only using negative reinforcement. Please - treat dogs kindly. You are their absolute world in the short lives they live. They deserve only the best.
