As weird as it may sound to some of you reading this, we literally think about our thinking all the time (and sometimes maybe too much haha), but what we didn't know was that there is an ACTUAL TERM for it!
With a blend of smarts, grit, and strategic thinking you've got yourself all the ingredients for success! Most importantly, strategic thinking can be taught!

3 Ways to NOT LOSE the Spark ✨ & Remain IN LOVE with your business:
💘😍💌
1. Delegate when needed: stop trying to do every tiny task on your own. It's okay to ask for help, and it will keep you from dreading or even resenting the business you love.

2. Automation: Go through your workday and week. Find out what is taking most of your time. Are these items tasks that can be automated? Most likely, you will be able to save minutes, hours, even a day's worth of work to unlock MORE TIME for your customers! (Because in the end, they are what make you thrive)

3. Be grateful and thankful: At the end of every quarter or every month even, go through your set goals. Did you meet them all? Was there 1 or 2 that weren't completely fulfilled? It's okay. There is always room for improvement, BUT be GRATEFUL for the progress that was made and be THANKFUL for the customers that you have; without them believing in you - there would be no business, so make sure you are checking in on them! They will so appreciate it and fall in love with you in even more 💕

We know exactly what it is like to start a business and the feeling of doing it ALL on your own.

How to give GOOD feedback to your designers...

1. Be specific with what you do and do not like when it comes to colors, fonts, images, etc. This gives us designers direction!
2. Be open to listening to your designer as to why they chose a specific color (for example). From color theory to best practices, as well as medium-specific considerations, attentive designers will always have you and your goals in mind when making certain choices.
3. If you feel you don't know how to describe what you want, no worries, create an inspirational board on and share it with the team! :)

What did you learn for the first month of 2021? Did you reach any goals? Did you already see results from your efforts? Faced any challenges?

There's a couple of key learnings we had this month. We all have already heard this one way or another, but can always use a reminder:

1. Assumptions get you nowhere
2. Opportunity is everywhere

Truly truly, we believe your mindset can affect the outcome of your everyday, and assumptions can seriously get the best of you.
Put them aside and just go for it! Opportunities are everywhere if we're willing to see them.
Do this and you will see results with your business and your personal life! 👏🏽

I believe, as a business owner and entrepreneur, having a positive morning routine and sticking to it is essential to get your day on the right track. Without it, you're in limbo!

This is just a glimpse of what our morning routine looks like:

FIRST, ☝🏽❌⏰ Wake up as soon as the alarm goes off.
As much as it is tempting to snooze it, DON'T! lol You'll regret it in the long run and lose time, which we always wish we had more of in the first place. Am I right?

SECOND, ☕ Make a BIG cup of coffee because, without it, there is no movement or communication. And with it, I usually read the news or watch an episode of Jimmy Fallon's, The Tonight Show from the night before, besides laughter is the best medicine 💁🏽‍♀️ !

THIRD, 🙏🏽 Journal 3 gratitudes. With all the distractions we all have throughout the day we can forget all the great moments, people, and things we are blessed with, or take them for granted. Really taking the time to think about what I am grateful for and why puts a whole new perspective on my day.

FOURTH, 🥣📝 I eat some breakfast while I prioritize my tasks for the day. I wish I could say, next I go work out... buttttt... that's not the case haha If anything that is something I try to do after work. However, it is one of the 2021 goals we have for ourselves.

We all know achieving anything, especially in business, requires discipline.
Easy? NO
Worth it? TOTALLY

1. Set goals... BUT set smaller goals in between your main goal. Trust me, it helps you see the progress and stay motivated!
2. Ask yourself what will help reach those goals, write them down, and stick to it. Consistency will help you remain disciplined.
3. Give yourself grace. No one is perfect, nothing ever turns out just as we plan it, and we all have bad days. All that matters is to keep trying.

As the work week comes to an end, we like to replay how our days went; what we did, didn’t do, what we could have done better.
One thing we noticed that helps us when brainstorming and designing solutions is asking each other “why not?” instead of just “why?”

Asking “Why?” when someone comes up with a suggestion will challenge them to defend their idea. Asking “Why not? Tell me more...” will instead encourage conversation. You might find they were onto something, maybe the next great idea, or additional insight. Even if it wasn’t the answer to your problem, it sparked a bigger conversation that offered new perspective, and brought more ideas to the table.

It’s a win win!
