In an industry where only the strongest may survive, one Reno based record label is utilizing intensity usually reserved for warriors entering battle, to establish its place at the forefront of the music business. Intense Entertainment was created and incorporated in 2010 in Reno, Nevada by music industry veteran Tracy Willis. Willis saw great success with the release of one of Reno’s first major
releases. “East on I-80.” This project was released under the label “Major Weight Muzik” which Mr. Willis was formerly a part owner in. With the success of this first release Mr. Willis continued to build his name in the music industry not just as a successful label owner but also a event booker and promoter. With the formation of Intense Entertainment in 2010 Mr. Willis made the decision to not only make the company a record label but to also use the brand for booking and promoting events in the Reno area. Major label artists that he has been able to book events for under the Intense Entertainment name include; The Game, E-40, Twista, Lloyd, and Currensy. With each concerts success Mr. Willis has not only been able to draw new attention to the Intense Ent. Brand but he is also able to give his artists a direct platform to perform alongside nationally recognized artists. Alongside Intense Entertainment’s great success with event booking and promotions they have also signed a great team of musical talent including artists; The Kid Bre, Akbadd, Gutta Men, Low, and Smoke. Each of these artists bring their own unique styles to the label all of which whether combined or released on their own make for fan favorite releases from the label. These release include; “T. Willis Presents Welcome To Reno The Compilation” released in 2011, The Kid Bre’s “Rookie Of The Year” mix-tape released in July of 2012, The Kid Bre’s nationally acclaimed and I-tunes distributed single “I Love You So”, and “T. Willis Presents Intense The Street Album” released in August of 2013. With each of these releases Intense Entertainment accompanied the projects with digitally distributed music videos that were met with great fanfare across the online world. As Intense Entertainment continues to grow, Tracy Willis states that he not only will continue to release quality music while also continuing to bring great events to Reno but also has plans to continue building upon the Intense brand until it is a world wide recognized brand. “When it comes to entertainment my intensity is unmatched and I will do anything and everything in my power to make sure we are recognized as the greatest entertainment company to ever grace this business!”
