Founded in July 2015, The Game Haus is the brainchild of President Robert Hanes and Chief Executive Officer Daniel Taylor. The site was originally named “Below Mendoza” and with the addition of Vice President Luke Jayle (Now Tim Miller) and Chief Operating Officer Tim Miller (Now Joe DiTullio), the site was re-introduced with a new mission and a new name, “The Game Haus.” Since its re-launch, The
Game Haus has grown from having a handful of writers to having a full staff of more than 30 journalists from across the country. These journalists not write pieces for the site, but also create podcasts which are available through SoundCloud. The front office operations has also grown to cover all facets required of a successful online news source. In March of 2016, The Game Haus recruited and began to sponsor a League of Legends team, coached by Steven Moore. The League of Legends team proceeded to win tournaments and to be featured in showcase games against other top teams in their division. While the team has done well, the site has also flourished, averaging more than 300 views per day, with this number steadily growing. In the future, The Game Haus plans to expand into YouTube, producing videos that will engage and inform their audience base. Through everything, The Game Haus has sought to bring both fans and athletes alike to a one stop location for all of their sports and eSports news and we will continue to do so in the future, always keeping in mind that we bring information from our Haus to yours.
