With a sad heart I found out this morning that Jake Miller (Jakey Crack Outdoors) has passed away from his battle with liver cancer! Jake was a great guy and I am proud to say I got to meet him a few times and he will be missed!! RIP Brother!!

What a bad day thats going on for me! I'm having a flare and hurting all over. Can't think strait and my joints are killing me. Went out earlier and washed the utility trailer and pulled the boat out of the carport and that was all I could get done. Now I'm exhausted! Only worked maybe 3 hours and now I want to go to bed and sleep but I hurt to much! Meds work ok but not that good! Only another 9 weeks till I get to see the Dr to get things going to help with this Lopus and Sjögren and maybe be back to normal by the end of the year!! Life sucks right now!!

Waking up and feeling like you just ran a marathon sucks. Muscles and joints hurt and feeling exhausted and I have only been up for 2 1/2 hours.
As a lot of you know, I have had medical issues and severe pain in my joints and muscles for years now. Also fatigue within just a few hours of getting up in the morning. Sleeping fully through the night has not happened in a very long time. Waking up multiple times threw the night in pain.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism over 20 years ago. Also rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia within the last 18 years. Just recently I had blood work done and was diagnosed with Lupus - Sjogens syndrome - Dermatomyositis and Systemic sclerosis. These are all autoimmune diseases where the body's defense system attacks healthy cells and tissues, causing damage to many parts of the body. Thow there is not a cure and some people do die from these diseases. However, for the majority of people it is not fatal if treated correctly.
As of right now I have a Appointment with a rheumatologist but not till July 12th unless I can find a Dr that will take me earlier. I have not been given a subscription for medication except for what has been subscribed already to me which works ok.
So till the appointment I have to just push through and hope it doesn't get worse.
