Generic Hotswap Switch Puller Review

This is not a paid review, I bought this generic cheap ($5.99 USD) hotswap switch puller off banggood to give it a try, and see if it was actually useful or not.

It works, it is kind of better than the pinch/tweezer style, but takes a bit of effort in holding the stem position up when pulling to ensure a tight grip.

Angry Miao Compact Touch Review

Thanks to Gary for lending me his board again to review after putting it back together, and confirming for me that it worked as intended!

Definitely an interesting board, a lot of weight, has a good feel to it, and the swipe gesture touch sensor on the front was interesting. For left/right movements it worked great but I felt the size for the up and down directions were much harder to work with, possibly due to the size of my thumb or the size of the sensor being so much more thinner in that dimension.

Overall, it definitely was a very satisfying board to use for the very brief experience!

A little bit challenging with the pre-glued foam, and the orientation of the diode, but I got there in the end. Hopefully the repair lasts!

Super clean lines, and a very classic look.
Very handy in having + or - 7° angle by flipping the base around.
Also very interesting in having the dual mount options for top mount plate or gasket mounted plate.

Even though I only partially built it with Naevies, the sound with top mount and feel was pretty good, firm response, and with the negative angle mode let me type at my normal speed and accuracy pretty much straight away.

This board would be super well suited to any home or office setup with its style and form factor.
