Super clean lines, and a very classic look.
Very handy in having + or - 7° angle by flipping the base around.
Also very interesting in having the dual mount options for top mount plate or gasket mounted plate.

Even though I only partially built it with Naevies, the sound with top mount and feel was pretty good, firm response, and with the negative angle mode let me type at my normal speed and accuracy pretty much straight away.

This board would be super well suited to any home or office setup with its style and form factor.

So I bought a $1 cable as part of their $1 extravaganza sale a little while back, and I apparently won one of their 25 Mystery Boxes, which in it was this Ajazz AK873 keyboard.

Clean looks, good thought process behind the magnetic top layer so you can remove it for a floating keycaps style if that is what you prefer. The keyboard is firm with very little flex, and paired with the MDA keycaps, is a very solid feeling board. Stock switches it came with were ok, sounded a little light and thin for my personal preference, but perfectly serviceable.

While it came with a dongle, I wasn't a fan of the dongle placement underneath, and also definitely not a fan that you have to switch over to wired mode instead of it being on wired mode by default!

Looking past that as best I could, I feel its quite a reasonably priced TKL with some nice features by default, 8/10.

BKE Redux Heavy - Review and Sound Test

I got a chance to get hold of some BKE Redux Heavy domes, so I do a sound test of my HHKB Pro 2 stock, then after it was swapped out to the BKE Redux Heavy domes, and did a comparison using Audacity.

So this keyboard came to me completely without expectation, and overall I found it to be way better than I expected.
Key points for me were that:
- While the board did creak and groan on the flex test, during actual table-top typing, it was extremely solid and stable.
- The dampening included was very effective and the gateron black switches produced a really nice sound profile
- Factory lubed plate-mounted stabilisers were really silky smooth
- Good thickness on the keycaps, not quite 1.5mm but definitely over 1mm thickness.

Overall, for the price tag ($149 at time of review), I felt it was a really worthwhile board to consider if you're after a 96-key/1800 style layout board.

I think if they were to make an aluminium cased version, it would definitely be a solid contender for higher end boards, depending on price point.

For an 'unknown' brand to me, its definitely been a solid positive experience in the end, after I managed to shove the USB-C cable in hard enough for it to connect properly.

7-8/10.
