Our Story

Featuring some of the most celebrated and creative mixologists, Uglee Radio™ aims to meet the ever-changing music tastes of its listeners. The sole goal of Uglee Radio is to provide never-ending musical pleasure 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Uglee Radio has been named five (5) as the Best Urban Radio Station, and with award-winning DJs on its roster, Uglee Radio DJs mix LIVE and cover genres from almost every era, and will, without hesitation, mix different genres to the surprise and delight of their audiences. Nothing is off limits!

On January 1, 2020, Uglee Radio launched a new station: UgleeRNBradio (http://ugleernbradio.com:7004/). In its first year of operation, Uglee Radio has garnered a total of five DOPE Awards nominations: Humanitarian of the Year, Best SL Radio Station (won), Breakout DJ of the Year (DJ Brasco), Best Male Urban DJ (DJ Fontaine), and Best Female Urban DJ (DJ ###plosive). Uglee Radio was the recipient of the 2018 and 2019 SL Source Awards for Best Radio Station and Best Female DJ (DJ Vendetta).

Most recently, Uglee Radio has garnered a total of six (6) Eighth Annual Dope Honors & Awards for 2020 nominations:
