Which book do you have more than one copy of? 🥰

Thank you so so much to for this gifted deluxe edition of Lessons in Chemistry. One of my all-time FAVORITE books that was published just over two years ago. Happy belated birthday, bestie!

Now I have three versions of this book and THIS ONE is absolutely my favorite. Completely blown away by the texture of the cover, the gold print, the details, the sprayed edges. I ADORE her. Photos truly don’t do it justice. 😍🥹

Where are my camping girlies at?🏕️

Much needed weekend away near Smith Rock State Park in Oregon. The 18 mph wind gusts aren’t ideal, but the fresh air and views are perfection.

Enjoying some alone time rn cleaning up the tent & listening to my audiobook. Today Tonight Tomorrow is so cute! 😍💚

This was SUCH a special book and I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to read it. For my bisexual babes, this is a MUST read & needs to be added to your Pride Month TBR asap!

When I came out in my 20s, I experienced every single thought and feeling that Imogen does in this book. The difference? I went through it mostly alone. The love & support she receives from (most of) her incredible group of friends was so healing & feeling that seen had me in tears. ❤️‍🩹 Thank you to for writing the book I NEEDED when I realized I was bisexual. I’m so so glad it exists now. 🥹

This beautiful, sweet, and authentic book is now available in paperback. Can’t wait to hear what you all think. 💕

April Wrap Up. Felt like doodling. 🥰✨

Happy May babes! April was a wonderful reading month with THREE 5 Star reads. Much needed after only one 5 Star in March. That said, the problem with reading that many 5 Stars is that nothing else really hit as hard & it made me feel slumpy. Hoping May brings lots of good reads!

♥︎Just for the Summer: All the stars. Truly. This book was spectacular & Abby’s best yet. It had me crying throughout & the way she wove in characters from the other books was perfection. Go read it. Now. Actually, go LISTEN. The audiobook is 1000/10.

♥︎Here We Go Again: 5 giant Stars made up of my tears. This was beyond beautiful. One of my favorite q***r romances & a touching tribute to the q***r community, drag community, & the teachers who become so much more. Go read AND listen!

♥︎Spark of the Everflame: 4 Stars. I’ve heard so much hype around this book & it did not disappoint! A badass, unapologetic, strong FMC, a brooding prince, hidden identities, magic, political intrigue, & so much more. Def recommend.

♥︎Glow of the Everflame: 5 Stars. The 2nd book in the series. LOVED. It was a stay up until 2AM kind of book. All the great things listed above & so much more. Go read it! Audiobooks for both books were fantastic!

♥︎The Serpent & the Wings of Night: 4 Stars. Fun! After pausing a year ago, I started again with the new narrator. Big fan. Pressed play & flew through the rest. Totally get the hype & I’m excited to read the second one.

♥︎In a Not So Perfect World. 3.5 Stars. Second book by this author & I really enjoyed it! A lot of fun & a great option for a light, summer read.

♥︎The Rom-Commers: 3 Stars. Man did I want to like this more. Especially because so many people LOVED it. I found nearly every character extremely dislikeable & there was no chemistry between these rom-commers.

♥︎Love You, Mean It: 2.5 Stars. Please no one tell the publisher, but I hate finished this one. I DNF’d & then decided I wouldn’t let it beat me. Some will think it’s cute, I just found nothing appealing about any of the characters.

Happy Indie Bookstore Day! 🎉

You know I couldn’t let today go by without highlighting my local bookstore - . If you’re ever in the Seattle area, this is a MUST stop shop. They’ve been around for more than 40 years and are filled from floor to ceiling with books of all types, topics, and genres and for all ages. 📚

One of my favorite things about Pegasus is that they sell new AND used books. Finding a ✨previously read✨ copy of the book you’re looking for is like winning the lottery. 😍 If you live in the area, you can also bring in your used books and get credit which can be used to purchase future books at a discount. It’s amazing. 🥰

And lastly, this bookstore wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible employees. Special shoutout to Eric and Josie (photo 3!) and all the employees for making Pegasus more than just a bookstore. It’s a safe space, an escape, a welcoming spot to leave the world behind for a bit. ❤️

I’ll forever be grateful that Pegasus is my local bookshop and I hope you’ll give them a visit!

Happy New Emily Henry Book Day to all who celebrate! 🥰

So I may be an odd one out, but I didn’t LOVE Funny Story. Did I think it was good? Of course. Emily is such a talented writer and I will devour anything she writes like I haven’t eaten in months. I just didn’t * feel * that much and I love me some feelings.

All that said, there was so much to love about this book and I do absolutely recommend it.

Amazing weekend seeing my Cubbies play three games in Seattle. Now it’s time to give my Kindle some much needed attention. 🥰❤️

I’m currently reading Here We Go Again by and it is sooo good. I’ve already teared up multiple times. Definitely recommend!

I really loved March. I read some SOLID books and I got to listen to one of the top audiobooks of the year. For sure. Excited for April & all the amazing books coming our way. I’m currently reading Just for the Summer and I LOVE IT. Eager to download the audiobook today. 💕

♡︎The Unmaking of June Farrow: 4 Stars. Beautiful, magical, emotional. Had me crying in Costco. Highly recommend the audiobook.

♥︎Late Bloomer (arc/alc): 3 Stars. Really sweet, but I found the plot lacking. Worth adding to your LGBTQIA+ TBR though. Audiobook was solid! Out on April 16.

♡︎Ready or Not: 5 Stars. One of my favorite books of the year so far. So sweet, funny, and entertaining. Audiobook was INCREDIBLE. This is absolutely a must listen.

♥︎This Could Be Us: 3.5 Stars. Good, not great. I think it’s because I expected something different? This is a self-discovery book with romance. Audiobook was ok. I didn’t love the male narrator.

♡︎Funny Story (arc/alc): 3.5 Stars. This one hurts. It was good. Just like all Emily Henry books. She’s an incredible writer & I’m always pulled into her stories. Finished in 2 days, but it didn’t leave me feeling much of anything. A lot of people will LOVE this though. Audiobook was obviously incredible. Julia Whelan can do no wrong. Out on April 23.

♥︎Out on a Limb: 4 Stars. So stinkin’ cute. I knew I’d love this from the moment Win joked about getting ☠️ by his 🍆. Hahaha. A really special book. Audiobook was a lot of fun!

♡︎The Rule Book (alc): 4 Stars. I just want to hug Sarah Adams after every single one of her books. I loved this. It made me feeeeel things and I loved the plot. Solid audiobook! Out today!

🌼 What This Weekend 🌼

Happy Saturday, babes! Spring has officially arrived in Seattle and while I can’t stop sneezing and my eyes are itchy I’m still loving the change in seasons. 😍

📖: I just finished Late Bloomer and it was a great read to bring on Spring. While I wanted a bit more from the plot, there was so much to like about this book. Full review on Goodreads. Now I’m starting Just for the Summer!

🎧: Ready or Not! This book is SO GOOD! The writing is clever, sweet, and so funny. The narration is perfection. I highly recommend adding this to your audiobook TBR.

📺: We’re watching second season of DARK on Netflix. It’s really good! Warning to my fellow ADHD girlies, we have to actually focus because it’s in German. 😂

💚: Today is my FIL’s 60th birthday, so we’re heading over there this afternoon to celebrate! Then we’ll spend the weekend relaxing & spring cleaning.
