CRUSADING CREATIVITY | "A Scenic View"

"This art piece was created as a way to relax and treasure moments of peace. Inspired by the quote 'Greet the world with open arms'—reminding us to rest and admire the beauty of the world around us.

As this is the final post of Crusading Creativity, we must reflect on each masterpiece that we created through art. Thus, we must always pursue art as our way to express how delightful our journey is."

EARTH DAY | April 22, 2025

First celebrated on April 22, 1970, Earth Day is an annual reminder to raise awareness about the environmental challenges our planet faces. This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” highlights the urgent call for renewable energy generation by 2030 to ensure a sustainable future.

EASTER SUNDAY | April 20, 2025

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
— 1 Peter 1:3

Christ is risen!
Today, we celebrate the triumphant resurrection of our Lord—a central foundation of the Christian and Catholic faith. Easter is a powerful reminder of God's eternal promise: that all who follow Him will overcome death and receive the gift of everlasting life, just as Jesus rose from the grave.

As we end this period of remembrance, it is important that we reflect on its true meaning: the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ—God’s greatest gift of hope and mercy, to save us all from our sins and be given everlasting life.

May this glorious Easter Sunday remind us of the testament of God’s divine love and our Lord’s significant sacrifice. Wishing everyone a joyful Easter filled with love and the peace of Christ!

BLACK SATURDAY | April 19, 2025

"My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love."
— Psalm 31:15–16

Black Saturday is a time of mourning and quiet reflection on the death of Jesus Christ, culminating in the Easter Vigil. It is a moment for solemn meditation on His unwavering love and sacrifice.

As our Lord rests in the tomb, let us light a candle and reflect on His life and mission. May we embrace the silence of this day and unite our hearts with Him in prayer and hope.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and contemplative Black Saturday.

That in all things, God may be glorified.

GOOD FRIDAY | April 18, 2025

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
— John 3:16

On this solemn day, Christians and Catholics around the world commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ—a profound act of love, as God sacrificed His only Son for the forgiveness of humanity's sins.

Let us take time for silence and prayer to reflect on the significance of this day. May we observe proper fasting and abstinence, and, if possible, attend special church services to mourn and honor the Lord’s ultimate sacrifice for us.

May this Good Friday remind us of God’s immeasurable love. Wishing everyone a blessed and peaceful day of reflection.
