Washoku Sato Washoku Sato Eat And Go] - Hakata Ramen (Review)

We have a new ramen player in Batam, and here is my thought.

Noodle: It's cooked al dente which is my favorite texture for a ramen noodle, and now they have the best noodle ramen in all of Batam.

Broth: This has to be richest broth I tasted in a long time, not a hint of dilution at all, which is really nice.

Chicken Charsiu: Is that charsiu? or just chicken slice? whichever it is, I liked the chicken for its tendency and sweetness, the only downside is the portion.

Egg: a bit overcooked and undermarinated for a ajitsuke tamago.

Verdict: Despite some of the downside, Hakata Ramen from Washouku Sato is defintely a strong contender for best ramen in Batam.

Score: 8.5 / Recommended

It's abit overpriced at 59,000 for the portion, but you can be a member of Washoku Sato Eat And Go] and enjoy their promotional price at 30% discount for the next 3 months.

Yesterday was le Wifey's birthday so we went to
Verdict:
1. Jimbaran Batik Lobster (688), if you are really really craving for lobster with some rice on the side. You might want to get this, for other people, you could skip this and order other food that give more bang for your bucks. Not saying it's bad, it's just that there are better alternative.

2. Roasted Salmon (245) it's very well cooked salmon, and the portion is decent too. Taste wise 8.5/10, it's a pity the truffle teriyaki sauce was not as prominent as I thought, still, give it a try if you liked Salmon, you won't be disappointed.

3.Hokkaido Scallop (188) is the best scallop I have tasted thus far, period. But is the price justified? You be the judge.

4. Duck Mantau (98) pleasantly surprised the fried mantou was fried perfectly. Crispy on the outside, soft inside and not oily. Definitely give this a try.

5. Yakimesi (58) is a great Japanese fried rice with some twist. You gotta try it to know what I mean. Would I recommend? Ya sure, why not.

6. Welcome bread (free) their welcome bread is really, really good. "I would pay to eat the next time I'm there" kind of good. Seriously considering ordering only their fried rice and get this bread for free next time I'm there, HAHAHAHAHA *cheapo*

Overall, Kukolola aim for the upper market in overall dining experience, the higher price is somewhat justified with quality of their food. I honestly was expecting mediocre dishes, pleasantly surprised. Will visit again next time. Today is their last day of promotion (discount 20%), maybe make a visit now?
