If you would’ve told me two years ago that my fun lil Podcast that I started in College would one day go public, THEN produce enough steam to fund a Scholarship that would invest in a small town kid blazing their path.. just like me at one point?!? ….Yo I might’ve quite literally laughed in your face. 😂 I really might’ve.
One, ya girl didn’t know a DAMN THING about Podcasting - just speaking my truth and opening my mouth whenever I felt the need 🥵🤭🫢
Two, I did not, and STILL don’t have the technical capabilities to make something like that shake. (It’s all God. It really is. I wouldn’t have a clue, the resources or network otherwise.)
Three, I cared WAYYYYYYYYYYY too much about what people thought of me. Still do @ times 🫠 But we put those insecurities away and speak about real, raw and uncut thangs over here.
Four, I did not believe in myself in the ways that I should have and needed to. I was quite literally the largest hindering factor in my life and I crippled myself with the pain of the past. (STILL DO IT, BTW.. but we’re working through it. 💪)
DESPITE ALL OF THAT?!? God still chose me to fulfill this duty?! Huh????? 🥹😩😭
I am at a loss for words and completely speechless at the blessings that God has bestowed upon me. To put me in position to give back to my village, and in a way that is even BEYOND monetary advantage is just.. 🤯 I’m so thankful. 🙏🏼
Love shoutout to all the people who believed in me, loved on me, encouraged me, pulled me out of the mud, kicked me in the ass when I needed it, and even to those select few who thought it was crazy and said I never could… We’re doing the damn thing BABBYYYYY! 😏💋 Thanks be to God 💙✨🙏🏼

You know what y’all, I’m just gonna keep it real with you: it’s almost been TWO MONTHS since I shot a podcast because my mental has NOTTTTTTT been right. With COVID, job searching, a lack of discipline and consistency, and TONS of things going on around me that I’ve allowed to distract me, it’s been a damn rollercoaster. 🥵 I saw this post yesterday and had to tell myself “Yupppp this is the one.”
