This Advent season, how might we lean on God’s promises as people looking for light in the darkest time of the year? And could that darkness be part of the good news?

Want solar for your church? Funds for green energy infrastructure are waiting for your church, but do you know how to get them?

In this conversation Caleb sits down with CEO of Groundswell, Michelle Moore, to trace the connections between loving your neighbor, energy use, local justice, and being good stewards of the resources available to us. Specifically, this episode is a helpful tool for understanding the credits and rebates available to you and your congregation through the Inflation Reduction Act! (U.S.) We’ve made this information so simple it might as-well be your birthday!

Michelle Moore is author of “Rural Renaissance” and CEO of Groundswell. She is a social entrepreneur and former White House official with roots in rural Georgia, Michelle is a relentless agent for change. Her accomplishments range from cutting the government’s energy bill by $11 billion and deploying 3.2 Gigawatts of new renewable energy for President Obama, to developing LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) into a globally recognized brand for USGBC (The U.S. Green Building Council). Michelle also serves as Secretary of the Board for the Interdenominational Theological Center. Her work is rooted in her faith and the commandment to "love your neighbor as yourself".
