Our first new playlist for 2024 will be "Big Guitar" - we're looking for tracks with big guitar riffs, tasty licks, and bad ass solos. This does NOT have to be Satriani type shredding (though it can be); anything from h***y tonk to blues to metal is welcome, as long as it's a killer guitar track. We've got some favorites in mind from acts like Tom McElman, Striking South, Tension Splash, Die Tired, Martial Dare, First Aid Spray, Sweet Lord, Attack Goose, Dooryarders, Feral Housecats, and TweeKs Corner.

EDIT: We got such a good response to this call for submissions that we're closing this list for now. We like to keep our lists to around 30 songs and this one is already at 35. Probably a "Big Guitar Vol. 2" will be in the works in the coming weeks!

Conspiracies are by definition everywhere and nowhere, but if we have a spiritual home it's in Michigan. So we're always extra happy to boost Michigan bands, and we're thinking of a 'Best Michigan Rock 2023' playlist to end the year. But we'd need some help to fill it out. We could start with Generation Empire, Tension Splash, 𝔽𝕒𝕥𝕨𝕠𝕠𝕕, Striking South, The One Divided, TweeKs Corner, Frame42, First Aid Spray, Mornaran, maybe throw in a few small label bands too. Nothing says "It's the Holidays" like a new punk rock playlist. We're calling this next (not yet public) list "Impure Indie Punk Rock" because we want to start with classic punk sounds like E:W:L and Dead S*x Puppets, but also include power/pop/punk like First Aid Spray and Penny Fountain and post-punk like Die Hard Habits.
Who's got a punk rock tune of any kind they'd like included? Some bands we already have in mind include The Long Drive, KTO. Kathleen Turner Overdrive, Lifting Curses, Spidersuit, Packetloss, The Space Sharks, and House Of Baden. Who else?
