Jamboree on the Internet/Airwaves is an annual worldwide Scouting event. It gives us the opportunity to speak with Scouters from all four corners of the globe, learn about their cultures, traditions, and how Scouting varies from country to country. It also gives us the chance to make new friends, and tell the world what life as a Kingfisher Scouter is all about. This year we are participating on S
aturday 21st, and Sunday 22nd October, and are offering slots of 1 hour to communicate in 3 different formats. Otley Amateur Radio Society are kindly bringing radio equipment along for Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts to make contact over the airwaves. We are also setting up 2 internet stations; Skype voice/video calling, and an interactive Facebook experience including FB Live, Q&A, and taking/posting photographs of our event. To sign up for a slot, please click the link, and choose your preferred time. Please note that we can only accommodate 3 children per time slot; you can view how many children are booked in for a particular slot, if there are already 3 bookings, please select an alternative time. We also ask that you accompany your child so that they may benefit from the full experience. https://doodle.com/poll/5x9y7nu59s84tw6s
