Sad news about an old friend and fellow chillout music promoter, Tim Quigley (aka Tommy Ohmz). Groovera was his passion. When he was based in the Bay Area we talked about collaborating on a new channel. Financial circumstances forced him to move and to put the streaming channels behind a paywall. But he knew the chillout genre like no other. R.I.P., Tim, and thanks for your years of friendship and for promoting so many artists!

Remember the days before Facebook and SoundCloud? When musicians promoted themselves on their MySpace pages?

Back in 2007, I recorded "the San Francisco episode" of this podcast. In retrospect, it was a great snapshot of the downtempo and psybient scene in the city at that time. It featured tracks from Under, Artemis, Karmacoda, DF Tram, and more.

Most of the podcast episodes aren't in iTunes right now because my website host decided that the podcasts were getting too much traffic and shut it down without notice.

The blog is still online, but you can't access the music, except for links to SoundCloud, Mixcloud, etc. I've converted a few episodes to Mixcloud streams and will continue that conversion now. This is an enormous task, with almost 100 episodes.

But this means the podcast won't be in iTunes anymore UNLESS I can find a reasonable internet host. Any suggestions?
