The deadline to submit your short stories (between 5,000 and 25,000 words) to our upcoming anthology has been extended to June 30! We are seeking stories based on the theme "love against the odds," but how you interpret that is entirely up to you, so long as your story fits into our overall escapism vibe!
Winners will receive publication in the anthology, a paperback copy of the published work, and minimum $75 CAD. While we normally ask for a $25 entry fee (all of which goes towards covering publication costs), we're doing things a little differently this time and offering you the choice to pay any entry fee you're comfortable with (or none at all)! If you're able, we'd love for your help in bringing our anthology to life, but we also understand that not every author has the option of paying to submit.

Submissions for our Against All Odds anthology are now open until the end of May!
We are seeking original, unpublished works between 5,000 and 25,000 words with the theme "love against the odds." Your story may be in any escapism genre (or combination of genres) including sci fi, fantasy, romance, and adventure, but should focus on romance between diverse or marginalized characters, or love in unlikely or dangerous circumstances.
There is an entry fee of $25 to submit your story but all proceeds will go towards prizes for the winners (including publication, $75 CAD, and a print copy of the anthology) and other costs associated with bringing seven fabulous stories to life.
