Let’s keep it funky! In the third month of the year folks have already lost momentum. People are tired and empty. At this point many are about to make temporary decisions with long term affects out of desperation. Let me help you pump your brakes. There are things in your life that can be bought or financed and there is a temporary gratification for those things. I personally know miserable millionaires so the cliche term money doesn’t buy you happiness is completely true. Can money make a difference and change your situation? ABSOLUTELY! But, here’s my point, your riches are in the quality of life you lead spiritually which reflects physically. Sure, finances help solve some problems but if all you’re missing is money you are in the upper echelon. Before you purchase a thing, go get a brand new car, house, man/woman or a new body you’ve gotta sit with yourself and ask who this is really for. Does this feed my soul or my ego? Am I accruing external things to cover for the un-faced internal trauma? Unfortunately, a lot of you ain’t got nobody real on your team to help you work through those things but even if it’s just you and God please MAKE time and not an excuse. Your lack of healing will cause everything around you to collapse and what was once controlled will be like a ship without a sail. Listen, and hear me well… YOU AIN’T GOT TO PROVE NOTHING TO A SINGLE SOUL. This season is personal and you should make it your business to ensure your soul, heart and mind is anchored in Christ and not in the opinions of man or the troubles of this world.
