We’re spotlighting Genomind, which does pharmacogenetic testing - analyzing a person's genes and to help clinicians choose medications and dosages that are more likely to work, and give insights into which drugs may cause adverse effects.

🎥 SPOTLIGHT CLIP: According the CDC, Human Papillomavirus, , is among the most common sexually transmitted infections in the world. 🌏 Around 90 of cervical diagnoses are caused by HPV.

We’re spotlighting HPV Global Action - VPH Action Globale, which helps women in developing countries gain access to the HPV vaccine, cervical screenings, and treatments. It's partnering with the 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 to implement joint cervical screenings for Female Ge***al Schistosomiasis, or 𝐅𝐆𝐒, a disease that originates in rivers and is prevalent among impoverished communities in tropical areas.

They're employing am innovative, low-cost approach for these screenings using a smartphone, called 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (AVE), which uses algorithms to identify changes in the cervix. This type of screening in the field can lead to an early diagnosis and early treatment.

Most plastics are made from fossil fuels, but as new technologies emerge, the use of renewable and alternatives are becoming more widely available. 🌲

The hope is that bioplastics, made from renewable sources, will become the future of the industry, replacing conventional synthetic plastics with those derived from 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬, which can help to reduce both CO2 emissions and energy consumption.

🎥 SPOTLIGHT CLIP: Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the U.S. While surgery, radiation and chemotherapy successfully treat many types of , 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 has emerged as an effective method of customizing treatment, based on the genetic makeup of patients. ⚕️

Seeing the need for more effective 𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, more than a decade ago pathologists John Iafrate and Long Phi Le developed advanced tests to help patients at Massachusetts General Hospital. They turned to Jason Myers, Ph.D for help in commercializing these genetic tests. From there, 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗗𝗫 was born.

DMG Productions was recently awarded a Silver Telly Award under the Social Responsibility category for its feature about Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD).

The segment, which aired on an episode of Advancements (hosted by Ted Danson), explores developments in sustainable wastewater treatment.

“This was a record-breaking year with nearly 13,000 entries from across the globe and top video and television content producers. DMG Productions is honored and humbled to be recognized again this year,” states Chad Densen, production manager for DMG Productions and the Advancements series.

DMG wins again in this year’s 45th Annual Telly Awards.

🎬 𝗗𝗠𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 is proud to announce it has been awarded the 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 in the category of 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. 🏆

The segment was focused on the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District using an innovative approach to protect its local watershed and provide a supply for the of its local lake, Lake Elsinore. 🚰

The municipality is allowing wastewater to be treated to state and federal standards, using a variety of cost-effective technologies to diminish contaminants and make 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞.
