For those who aren’t familiar with Paper.li it’s essentially a ‘newspaper’ about whatever you want to share and it’s easy to use. Simply go to the site and sign up. There are two versions – free and paid. (More on that later.)

Great news!

Psa for Wordpress.
Those of you on self hosted (haven't checked .com yet) Wordpress (I.e you have your own hosting account), the most recent update in Jetpack allows you to add a GDPR thing, and, better yet, Wordpress clean install will now generate you our a bare bones Privacy policy.
Update, and it's under the settings menu in privacy. It does require some thinking and consideration, but it's still robust.
Tip.
At the end, if you use affiliate links, say so there. Note - not a lawyer (do play one in a podcast) but it's got lots of instructions. I'll check .com and report back if it's there but I suspect it will be. I will be adding paragraphs for the bits not covered by the generator (if you use ecommerce etc) to the blog in the next few days, so if you're stuck, please ask, but remember I'm no expert. Read a lot on it but you havr to do due diligence too. :)

Hi guys.
As you may have been notified, The Finishing Fairies has finally updated to The indie Minions. We're still around, and it'll still be the same as it was, but the name update is important so we can consolidate. I hope you stick with us through the changes, and while Kriss is no longer a team member, she was very much a treasured part of the journey, and will always be a part of our beginnings.
Our new adventure starts soon. :)

How The Finishing Fairies became minions!

And no, we don’t mean the Minions from Despicable me (though, if anyone can hook me up with some I’d be VERY grateful!)

The Finishing Fairies was once a PR company that myself and a friend called Kriss Morton ran. Unfortunately, the company holding our domain name went out of business, we were both sick, and we lost the domain names, temporarily. When we got them back, Kriss decided she wanted to move on, and I decided that it was time to rebrand, and move into the name we’d been using in the interim.

And that’s how you make Faries into Minions.

We create websites, basic graphics, promo materials, PR materials and more for authors and small businesses, wanting to make their mark. We’re quirky, irreverant, and we deliver results.
