🔴🦎
Originally went for the V1s because they were closer to a vintage Panavision look. Nice low contrast with excellent roll off, but must avoid back lit shots due to ghosting & inner reflections. Lots of mechanical issues like image shift, which CLA was unable to fix. Excellent for stills tho, just not ideal for cinematography unless properly re-housed. And even then, I would still be nervous of those nasty interior reflections. There is still however one gem that we did keep from the set.
