The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden will host its first-ever virtual event on September 25, 2020. Zoofari, the Zoo’s most crucial annual fundraiser and Cincinnati’s premier party with a purpose, will be delivered to party animals and Zoo supporters in the comfort of their own homes this year. Those who want to sacrifice comfort for fashion are encouraged to dress in this year’s Roaring 20s theme and to share photos using . Event registration is free.
Pregame! The Zoofari silent auction opens today! Bid on unique items, including a VIP package for up to 16 adults that features a behind-the-scenes experience with hippos Bibi and Fiona and a private tour of the Africa habitat! Other items include baby animal naming opportunities and VIP tours! Bidding ends September 27 at noon.
“Of course we would prefer to get dressed up and gather at the Zoo, but that’s not possible this year,” said Cincinnati Zoo director Thane Maynard. “Instead, we will do our best to make the virtual event fun! We will take you to see some of your favorite animals, including Fiona, and will welcome local and national celebrities who love the Zoo, just like you!”
For the first time ever – anyone, anywhere can join in the Zoofari fun. Just grab your phone, computer, or any internet-enabled device and be immediately transported to the wildest event of the season. The fun starts at 7 p.m. EDT.
