September Sun7" - New - The debut offering from September Sun, a collaboration between Don Pascal and Tom Funk. Reminiscent of Leon Thomas's 70's recordings, the title track 'September Sun' evokes memories of warm summer sunsets. Sprinkled with beautiful sax lines and the soft backbone of a harpsichord, the tune dances away into the summer evening. The B-Side 'Morning Song', is a peace offering to the spiritual realms of John and Alice Coltrane. Lead by the beautifully introspective flute of Tamar Osborn and held together by the twinkling keys of Tom Funk, the composition has an absurd talent for calming the waves of a stormy mind. with special guests and 🙌👏
