VXS has announced a huge first time ever match for their upcoming event.
It will be KENTA taking on "The Notorious 187" Homicide. The match will take place at ARRIVAL 2 (LIVE PRO WRESTLING!) on Friday August 23rd at The Mecca in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. The event will stream live for FREE on YouTube.

Chris here, Sorry for the radio silence this past month. Been busy with a relatively new job and better understanding some choices for the website.
Long story short we're upgrading a lot of the back end code of the site which unfortunately was very outdated and causing multiple issues.
We are also upgrading security so that the site is safer for everyone.
I hope to have the site up ASAP and I was told yesterday it is imminent after some last scans are done.
I truly appreciate everyone who has reached out and asked. It means the world to all of us here as we strive to continue to be a part of the awesome indie wrestling community.

GCW General Manager Matt Cardona has stripped Blake Christian of the GCW World Championship.
Blake Christian is currently in Japan competing in New Japan Pro Wrestling's Best of the Super Juniors tournament and won't be able to return to America in time for his scheduled match against Joey Janela at Cage of Survival 3.
A new champion will be crowned at COS 3 on Sunday June 2nd in the first ever Matt Cardona General Manager Game Changing Gauntlet of Survival.
GCW and DDT will be running a collab show in August!
GCWxDDT Never Ending Noisy Summer will take place on Monday August 12 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Already announced has been Joey Janela, Allie Katch, Effy, Masha Slamovich, Mance Warner, Jordan Oliver, Dark Sheik, Alex Zayne, and Rina Yamash*ta.
GCW will also hold solo events at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo on Tuesday August 13th and Wednesday August 14th.

Prestige Wrestling: Alive or Just Breathing Preview
Prestige Wrestling’s next event will take place on Thursday May 16th, 2024, from the Vermont Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. This one will be airing live on IWTV at 10:00 EST. So for those on the East coast like me, put on a pot of coffee and enjoy this one. Lots of cool matchups on this card, including Shelton Benjamin starting his independent tour, going against Tom Lawlor and Alan Angels defending the Prestige World Championship against Evil Uno.
Alpha Zo vs. Jordan Cruz
I’ve really become a big fan of Jordan Cruz. His aggressive in-ring style has really helped his perception as a dangerous man to face. Zo has been doing a lot of work in California and on the West coast in general. With Cruz coming off his feud with Jaiden, which generated a lot of buzz, I believe this will be a spot to continue to push Cruz and get him a bounce back win after his most recent defeat against Jaiden in a Last Man Standing match.
Prediction: Jordan Cruz
Jada Stone vs. Vertvixen
Originally scheduled to be Vertvixen against Viva Van, Jade Stone steps in to take Van’s place in this one, making her singles debut in Prestige Wrestling. Vertvixen has made a name for herself in just about five years in the wrestling business, working many independent promotions and popping up in the NWA and AEW. Stone is also early in her career, working indie shows across the country with regularity. I think this will be a good showcase opportunity for both women, but I give the edge to Vertvixen here.
Prediction: Vertvixen
GhoulMoone vs. Z-Sharpe
Z-Sharpe, consisting of Gregory Shape and Zara Zakher, were recently the PrideStyle Tag Team Champions, until losing the titles to Sinner and Saint back at the end of April. GhoulMoone is comprised of local mainstay Sonico and Sandra Moone. We’ve seen a lot of Sonico and Moone in singles competition in Prestige as of late, with both putting on great performances every time out. With that said, Z-Sharpe has more experience as a regular tag team, and lots of success to boot. I’m going with the former PrideStyle Tag Champs to get the win.
Prediction: Z-Sharpe
“Blackheart” Lio Rush vs. El Hijo Del Dr. Wagner Jr.
Lio Rush’s “Blackheart” persona received a lot of praise and attention after his most recent appearance in Prestige with a victory over Jaiden at Roseland 8. Rush is well traveled in his career, having spent time on the independents, as well as in WWE/NXT, AEW and New Japan. Wagner Jr. Has been a multi-time champion and mainstay in Pro Wrestling NOAH, and really works all over the world due to his popularity. I really can’t imagine this match being anything but awesome. With Rush’s change in persona and momentum in Prestige as of late, he likely gets the win in this one.
Prediction: “Blackheart” Lio Rush
Galeno Del Mal vs. Jeff Cobb
Galeno del Mal, the son of Dr. Wagner Jr., is carving out a name for himself already at the age of 22. Jeff Cobb is one of the strongest men in professional wrestling and most recently has spent the bulk of his time in New Japan where his is the current NJPW World Television Champion. Cobb being the established veteran, and being a current champion of a major international promotion, gives him the advantage in my opinion. Even with Galeno del Mal being the PCW Ultra Heavyweight Champion, I think Cobb wins.
Prediction: Jeff Cobb
Alex Shelley vs. Timothy Thatcher
Most pro wrestling fans are likely familiar with both of these men. Shelley is a long-time veteran, wrestling in almost every promotion there is, and just recently lost the Prestige World Championship after holding it for over two years. Thatcher, one of the best technical wrestlers in the world right now, has also worked in lots of promotions and is popping up just about everywhere since his departure from NXT. I’d expect a mat-based, technical matchup here which on paper plays into the strengths of Thatcher. But with Shelley a mainstay in Prestige I see him getting back on track with a win here.
Prediction: Alex Shelley
Prestige World Championship: Alan Angels vs. Evil Uno
Angels makes his first defense of the Prestige World Championship against a familiar friend/foe in Evil Uno. The men have history from AEW during Angels’ time in the Dark Order. Angels used his Sound Check in-ring segment to antagonize Evil Uno at Roseland 8. This feels like a good first feud and title defense for Angels, with an already built-in backstory. Should Angels retain, he gets Drexl at Alive III in June, in a Devil’s Playground Match no less. With that having already been set up, and Angels reign as champion just beginning, he should retain here.
Prediction: Alan Angels
Shelton Benjamin vs. Tom Lawlor
Benjamin embarks on his second post-WWE run with a debut at Prestige Wrestling on this show. His original opponent was Josh Alexander, who was forced to pull out of the show for circumstances beyond control. Tom Lawlor is awesome however, and is a more than suitable replacement. Admittedly, I did not see much of Benjamin in his last run on the indies during his time away from WWE, so I am extremely interested in seeing him this time around. Lawlor is a guy who can work about any style, and I expect these two to mesh well together in this matchup. With Benjamin ramping up on the indie scene once again, he will likely emerge victorious here.
Prediction: Shelton Benjamin
Even with some late changes to the card this is another show that looks very entertaining on paper. Prestige shows have just about always been a consistent homerun lately, and I expect the same here. Check out the show live on Thursday, May 16th on IWTV!
