Show up for others the way you want them to show up for you. 💜
This weekend I went around with my Pastor—who also happens to be my dad ☺️—to visit some of the seniors. What blessed me most was each one is surrounded by loved ones who still show up, check in, and care for them.
One of them said something that stuck with me:
“When you love someone, you’re going to show it, because love is an action word. No matter what others do or how you’re treated, if it’s in you, it’ll show.”
That’s so true. We’ve seen the opposite so much that it was refreshing to witness genuine love and care in action.
So don’t be that friend or family member who’s remembered for not showing up, not checking in, or not helping when it mattered. Be the one who does. Be the one who calls, visits, gives, prays, and loves without condition.
My parents raised us to have a heart for people and to always be a blessing. I might be the quiet, shy one, but when it comes to loving and helping others—I’m all in.
Simple gestures mean so much. Whether it’s a card, flowers, food, your time, or just a prayer… do it. Because love isn’t just something you say. It’s something you do. 💜
Let’s all make it a habit to show up, pray, support, and care for others. Remember you reap what you sow.
