As terrifying as it is, sometimes you have to say goodbye to toxic relationships, friendships, bosses, jobs, food, alcohol, social settings and even family. It won’t be easy...but it’s the only way to make a change so let that sh*t go, create a higher frequency and demand everyone in your life level up to it👊it’s YOUR life. So take control of it💁🏼‍♀️🔥✨

If you measure your life and success by what you HAVE it can lead to anxiety and unhappiness. That sense of comparison and “keeping up with the Joneses” rarely brings any positivity to your life. And what happens when what you have is lost?? When we measure our success by who we are, how we feel, what we believe in and how we treat ourselves and each other it creates a deeper sense of value and worth. If you’re struggling in any part of your life, take a look at what you’re putting value on. Shift the focus. Shift what matters and see what changes 💕✨

Episode 7 is live ✨ Renee Klein's story begins with her sister, Sandy. When Sandy was just 2.5 years old she was hypersensitive to people and things in her environment, and her family knew she was atypical for her age. At 8 years old, Sandy had a psychotic break and her family's lives would never be the same. Renee shares how the struggles of a family member very much affects the entire family and their group of friends. Her family turned that challenge into something good in bringing awareness and action to help support other families dealing with mental illness by working with NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) and the housingtaskforce.org as well as supporting the genetic research with the Prechter Family Fund. Renee has made it her life mission to share her family's story to bring light to a sometimes dark subject and show compassion to everyone she meets - because you never know what someone is going through.💕. 💫

How many times have you said “oh, must be nice!” Must be nice to be married, to have those perfect kids, a job like that, to live there, or go on vacation all the time...and how has thinking that way improved your life?? It hasn’t. It makes us more miserable and negative.

What if instead of becoming jealous we become inspired? What if we use it as fuel to light our own fires as a way to visualize what we want for our own lives and what we know we deserve? Stop comparing your life to what someone else has. Sure, maybe they don’t deserve it but that’s none of your business. And thinking that way won’t help you get there either. Instead, see the things you want in others and say “oh wow, it’s possible!” Just that simple positive shift in attitude will make a huge change if you stay consistent. Believe me...I’ve been there 💁🏼‍♀️

30/10/2019

http://hyperurl.co/tagrwo 6 Feet Above was created when I started to share my journey of spending 16 years wishing I was 6 feet under, to living a full and happy life, 6 feet above. The more I told my story, the more I realized people were genuinely interested in my struggles, without passing the judgement I was always fearful of. I discovered that people wanted and needed to talk about their stories and struggles, and began to confide in me. I started to realize we all have a past with difficulties, and we are probably going through with some hard things at this very moment. But it's up to us to not let our past or current struggles define us. We have to take responsibility for our own lives and emotions, because we can use them to create a life we love. That is the process the 6 Feet Above podcast will speak too. It will be a place to share people's stories of struggle and success. To find out what worked for them in creating a life of happiness. Some weeks it may get pretty dark as we discuss serious topics. Other weeks it may be a bit lighter. But each week we will discover real people, who have overcome their obstacles, to live a life of joy and positivity. I hope you will join me on this journey. I'm Megan Armstrong. Welcome to life 6 Feet Above. http://hyperurl.co/tagrwo
