Register Now To Begin Your 2024 APPI Rendering Code of Practice & FSMA Training

The APPI Rendering Code of Practice (CoP) & FSMA Training is necessary if you need to certify your plant in the Rendering CoP and Safe Feed/Safe Food programs. We will cover what you need to know to ensure compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations and to be a “Preventive Control Qualified Individual” for your company.

The 2024 training is a hybrid format, which includes online qualifying modules followed by required in person wrap up sessions with Q&A (details below). Upon successful registration and receipt of payment, you will receive the online qualifying modules by email, which you may begin completing immediately.

We heard it's . Did you know the rendering industry plays a huge part in this effort? Here is just one example: rendering results in 62 billion pounds of food waste diverted from landfills. Not only that, rendered meats, fats and oils are upcycled into everything from pet food and livestock feed to renewable fuels and a myriad of industrial uses. If there was no rendering, there would be a huge hole in food loss and waste efforts worldwide.
