As we get ready to write up our coverage of NARA's 92nd Annual Convention last week in Amelia Island, Florida, we have some big news to share! Our former longtime editor of Render — Tina Caparella — was honored by NARA with the Prestigious Don Franco Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Rendering Industry.
This is the organization’s highest honor, recognizing Tina's exceptional leadership, dedication and contributions to the rendering industry throughout her 25 years at the helm of NARA's publication. She retired in 2021 after successfully guiding the magazine to its 50th year of publishing, having taken over the reins from her grandfather, Frank Burnham, who started Render in 1972.
Under Tina's tenure, Render's distribution expanded beyond North America to being recognized as the premier global publication for the worldwide rendering industry. Congratulations Tina Caparella!
