Greetings. Interactions. I share blogs and posts on multiple groups on Facebook, most UFO related, with a few specifically focused on the sciences. As a result of this, I am witness to some interesting interactions, member comments, some quite positive and productive in nature, some not so much, with a few interactions being pretty abhorrent in nature. I have always held the position that I have no answers, none whatsoever, and I certainly will not make unsupported and unsubstantiated declarations about any of the unanswered questions at large. However, I do feel it is vitally important to maintain the interactions, to encourage the exchange of ideas and opinions, and to motivate individuals to give their own points of view, all in an effort to exercise our collective critical thinking skills, to examine the questions at hand, in a productive, cordial manner.... Now this certainly does not mean that troubling issues should be ignored, quite the opposite. Such problems should be discussed in an honest and straightforward way, for otherwise we become part of the problem through our complacent ignoring of them. What this does mean is that with the cordial exchange of ideas and opinions, with the use of our critical thinking skills, and with the embracing of valid data and information, we stand a reasonable chance of solving the UFO problem, among many other unsolved mysteries.
