Clandestine Arts Recording was started in 2008 as a mobile recording operation to provide affordable recordings for bands in a comfortable setting (practice space, basement, etc). Since it’s inception my mission and experience has extended to working regularly as a guest engineer at Earth Analog Studio in Tolono, IL, and at Beware Sounds in Indianapolis, IN. My experience in audio began as a music

ian, watching others work as they recorded the bands I was playing in at the time. In the early 00’s I bought a Tascam PortaStudio 424 MKII cassette recorder and a pair of SM57 mics to begin figuring out how to do it myself. After moving to Indianapolis, IN my CV was grown working on demos, EPs, and albums for friends and acquaintances predominantly based in the punk and metal scenes of the city. Construction on a physical studio space for Clandestine Arts Recording was completed in 2020.
