Why did I choose the unconventional investing route of the younger generation? While studying abroad on exchange in the USA, I was unable to find an income source other than their dreadful minimum wage. This prompted me to do some serious thinking in the month of February of 2016. There were two viable options that didn't require anything other than an internet connection and my laptop. These were
eCommerce and trading on the ASX, as I already had a little bit of cash saved up for the trip. The eCommerce route proved to be spectacularly unsuccessful, however, I started gaining traction on the ASX after many countless nights with my eyes glued to a computer screen or deep in a book relating to investing. Coming up on two years later, the rest is history. I have found a way to combine my passion for investing, while imparting the knowledge I have accumulated over this period in the hope that it will inspire a few to follow the same path to financial freedom.
