The Iowa Press Women and Nebraska Press Women are jointly hosting the conference with events on both sides of the river.
The 2011 NFPW Conference, the organization's annual gathering, will be held Sept. 8-10 at Harrah's Council Bluffs Hotel & Casino in Council Blufs, Iowa, which is located across the Missouri River from Omaha, Neb.

Cheers! We're preparing information on speakers and workshops to be posted on the NFPW website and in the Agenda! Gas prices are down to $3.25 a gallon in Council Bluffs and continue to drop!
We wanted to give you an update on the flooding in Council Bluffs. Harrahs' is still open, although some of their parking lots are under water. We don't anticipate any problems by September. On a happier note, gas prices have dropped to $3.39 a gallon!
Nebraska Press Women had a productive national conference planning meeting during our spring convention in Halsey, Neb., last weekend. Can't wait to host you all in September!
