This is goodbye...

It is after a lot of deliberation, heartache, and cups of tea that we have decided that we are ending the podcast effective immediately. We have both simply become overwhelmed by a myriad of life changes which require more of our energy.

We want to say to everyone who has reached out to us; WE DEEPLY APPRECIATE YOU! We are still so surprised that our little project gathered any attention at all, let alone helped others. We cannot say thank you enough to you! Your words of encouragement and kindness were the fuel that kept us going!

We have decided that it is time for us to let go of this project as we (clearly) have been too inconsistent and our lives are too chaotic to give proper, quality content to you. Again, the deepest thank you to all of you whom have supported us, taught us, guided us, and helped us through the years.

This topic is the history of Halloween and a little discussion about Halloween!
We had a lot of fun making this episode but unfortunately had to cut a ton out due to time. This episode ran over 2 hours long without editing it down. Even still, it's over an hour and a half!!
We talk about how Halloween came to be, the history of the Jack O Lantern and Trick or Treating and a little bit about Samhain then we share some thoughts, views, and fun memories of Halloween!

RELEAUNCH NEW EPISODE!
We're back witches!
We would like to reintroduce ourselves and give you a little bit better of an idea of who we are as witches.

Greetings everyone!
I realize it's been quite a few months since we have released an episode.
We've had a bunch of bad luck and scheduling issues but in this time we've been doing our homework!
We've revisited all of our older episodes and we realized that while we had cut out a lot of dialogue for the sake of time, we were also cutting out a lot of the humor and relatable banter. We will be improving upon this in upcoming episodes and thus, this means longer episodes too!
Also, we are learning and testing out different recording methods to improve upon our audio quality. Recording and editing have been our main struggles and we're hoping to offer a better experience for everyone.

As you might have noticed we've been forced to take a hiatus. Sybella suffered an injury in January which left her unable to walk. She's managed to recover and now we're back to setting up more episodes! We will be releasing a new episode next week discussing Deities. We are excited to get back at it!

In this episode we discuss the history of Yule and many of the traditions celebrated during the Christmas/Yule/Winter Solstice time! We explain where these traditions came from and how it is celebrated in the United States today.

First, we would like to apologize for the long delay of a new episode, Sybella unfortunately became very ill shortly after our previous episode and was completely unable to speak for a long period of time. You may also hear that she is a bit more nasally and stuffy in this episode for this reason as well.

We had to remove a lot of this discussion due to time. Some of what was removed was other solstice celebrations (such as Yalda Night) and much of how we personally celebrate this time of year.
