Don’t want to travel far to see hot air balloons? Here’s a list of 5 places in the U.S. where you can see them 👇🏻

•Alberqueue Balloon Fiesta, New Mexico (Oct. 5-13 2024)

•Kanab Balloon Festival, Utah (Feb 16-18 2024)

•Arizona Balloon Festival (Jan 26–28 2024)

•Florida Hot Air Balloon Festival (May 1-15 2024)

•Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival, Foley, AL (May2-4)

The ABQ balloon fiesta in New Mexico is the one where I got these photos & it’s the biggest one in the world!!

I flew in for 24 hours just to do this & I would say it was worth it. Definitely a unique experience 🎈

Add to your southwestern bucketlist 👇🏻

📍Antelope Canyon, AZ, USA

This is the only slot canyon I know of that you need to pay for - but it is entirely worth it!!

This is all private Indian reservation land, so in order to access these slot canyons you need to book a private tour with them. I honestly loved it though because they tell you where to take the best photos.

There’s 2 canyons, Upper Antelope Canyon & Lower Antelope Canyon. Upper is more popular since it is wider, but I personally like Lower best! I have been to both.

Lower Antelope canyon you need to decend down multiple stairs from a crack in the ground where you’ll reach the bottom floor & look up to see massive canyon walls. I feel like there is many more shapes & formations which I think is unique.

Best time to go is during dry season, so try to avoid July - September which is flash flood season & is deadly in slot canyons.

What I thought of Moulin Rouge in Paris 👇🏻

For those who don’t know, Moulin Rouge is mainly known as the birthplace of the modern day Can- Can dance where French dancers & singers dress in elaborate costumes & dance in sync.

You can’t take photos / videos during the show, so that’s why I have photos only before. I have videos too before - but honestly they are so shaky they will not be posted 😂

Tickets are around $150 per person for a 2 hour show. You get your own table with a bottle of Champagne.

My sister & I went to the Rockettes in New York City a few years ago thinking this was going to similar, but the Original version of that. If you haven’t been to the Rockettes you definitely should !!

ANYWAY- we heard this is “THEE thing” when travelling to Paris so we figured we have to go

First off, the whole thing is in French. No big deal though because my sister was reading online that you can still follow the story line pretty easily

Second, online it says you can bring kids 12 years & older, so we are thinking again - this is family friendly dance like in the US in New York

Were we in for a surprise 😂

It had no story line whatsoever, even if I was fluent in French. Then it is totally NOT safe for 12 year olds, unless you’re fine with your kids looking at more b***s than you’ve seen in your whole life 😂

I will say the costumes were very classy & super unique. However the women being topless every single number was a little distracting 😅

Although it is a classic staple, I feel like it is pretty sexist for 2023… We didn’t know it was going to be a burlesque show to be fair, however if you’re going to sexualize the show then at least sexualize everyone - not just women.

It was definitely a unique experience & I still recommend going just to say you did & see it for yourself. Personally, I wouldn’t go again but I’m happy I experienced it at least.

Definitely a night to remember, & the look on my sisters face when the first song came on & 20 women came out topless… priceless 😂 Also I will add that 1 bottle of champagne was not enough for that show 😂😂

Would you stay in a mansion in the French countryside?

Me & 4 other women stayed in a mansion we found on Air Bnb in the Loire Valley of France since it seemed like a once in a lifetime experience - it definitely was!

From the listing it looked huge, inviting, airy & a perfect countryside getaway. Even from my photos I’m sure it looks elegant, bright & inviting

I don’t know about you - but I watch a lot of psychological thrillers. This was the perfect place for one of them to take place 😂

The photos on the air bnb listing were taken years ago, & the castle was not as pristine as the reviews we were seeing.

There were spiderwebs everywhere, nothing was stocked - we had to use toilet paper as paper towels for dinner 😂 ,wash dishes before we used them, & some of the doors didn’t even lock so we had to prop a high chair against them.

This castle has 3 floors with steep spiral staircases leading up to them. 7 bedrooms, 12 beds, and 4.5 baths. One of the rooms had dolls sitting in front of the bed , & guns sitting above it. Another one had a red lacy long cloak sitting in the armoire. Others had doors / cabinets fully locked so we have no idea what was in them.

There were many bedrooms that we each could have had our own, however we were so creeped out that we ended up pairing up 😂 The first night we even heard gun shots outside at midnight 😳

Think Beauty & the Beast vibes before the beast got hot & the castle was clean - it seemed haunted 😂

There was even a garden caretaker that stayed on property in the guesthouse with his family, however we NEVER saw him - it was weird

At first we talked about staying somewhere else instead, but figured we already paid for this place & we were just being dramatic.

Let me tell you - I have never got that bad of sleep in my life. We were all so anxious & couldn’t sleep every single night because it just creeped us out 😂 the 3rd & last night I finally had to take Xanax because I was so terrified of something happening😂

I could go on & on about this house.. but needless to say, it was definitely an experience but I will not be staying here again 😂

What do you think, do you get scared of those things?

They I love my Oru 👇🏻

Did you know there was such thing as a foldable kayak? I had no idea until I saw and knew I NEEDED to get one!!

No joke - it took longer for my friend to get that photo of me splashing the water with the paddle than it took me to set up the entire kayak 😂 I was paddling in circles & was like “OMG just get the photo!!!” 😂

But really… this is lightweight (20lbs), easily storeable, durable (up to 20k folds) & super roomy!! This kayak made me realize how much I want a dog to put in the front seat 😂

I am STOKED to use this one from now on & let my friends deal with stress of my blowup one… my Oru isn’t popping on my watch!

Do you have a kayak?
