Here's a suggestion for the Labour Party on how to found their green technology programme (which they estimated at £28 billion) .
Take over the vast wealth of the Church of England- who represents practically nobody and whose wealth is all stolen from the people of England (£9 billion at least)

Take over the vast wealth of the German origin British 'Royal Family. whose wealth is all stolen from the people of the UK, estimated at £30 billion (they can keep one Palace,). Down with benefit scroungers like these ludicrously wealthy half wits.

Labour's original Green programme is very necessary.

nteresting facts- I did a quick bit of research and discovered at least 50 known pro-Israel lobby groups in the UK, from the Board of Deputies to the Friends of Israel. Now the census says that there are 271, 327 Jewish people in the UK. That makes 1 lobby group per 5426 Jewish people. I can find no more than 10 Palestinian lobby groups in the UK. At the same time "More than a third of the British cabinet, including Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has made overseas trips funded by the Israeli government or affiliated lobby groups, it can be revealed." (Daily Maverick) The question is are we getting a 'balanced' picture of what is happening in Israel/Palestine.

It's 45 years since Thatcher got into power and invented the great Tory con (GTC) - selling off things the state owned - the last one, the Post Office. has been a complete disaster and is a fitting epithet for the whole thing. There is nothing left to sell and the Tories have no other ideas, no policies and no hope. Brexit was simply a last mad fling to try and stay afloat. Funny that they rant on about 'little boats' - that's what the UK now is.

This is one of the best books I have read on film theory. It is a good reminder for those who need to go back to basics and for those who would like to learn about film theory from scratch. It is easy to understand and apply. Really worth buying.

While many books' heavy-handedness are a chore and a bore, this fabulous overview of film theory is enjoyable but meaty. I would recommend it to anyone with a deeper interest in film theory or an A-level/first-year film/media student. It could provide the gateway to the more stuffy and aloof texts that students have to read. R. Osborne takes the reader on a chronological odyssey through the history of film and its key figureheads and scholars. While it can be read from cover to cover, it is also a great book to dip into as and when. R. Osborne writes with a conversational style and sense of fun, while the illustrations really enforce the meat and potatoes of the written text.

This is easily the best introduction to film theory I have read. It is concise and at the same time far reaching in scope, covering all the relevant theories as the science and art of film developed over time. I particularly liked the drawings by Angie Brew which ensures at all times that the book does not take itself too seriously and feels accessible to all comers. Heartily recommend it...
