Hello Droplets!!
We're letting you all know that we WILL BE BACK, we just need a bit more time to adjust to situations here at home. Kaitie is getting back into competitive swimming for her health a overall mental fitness too. She's trying to focus on herself, yet still is keeping abreast of the crime scene area too. This hiatus should also provide us time to catalog some cases so that we're not on a deadline for drops.
Please bare with us for a little longer and hopefully it will be worth the wait!! We love you and are so glad you're with us for the eventual long haul!! Twenty-three-year-old Zachariah Juwaun Shorty disappeared from Farmington, New Mexico on July 21st, 2020. Four days later, on July 25th, Zach's body was discovered in a desolate field in Nenahnezad, New Mexico. His killer/s remain free.

Zach was in Farmington staying at the Journey Inn making music with friends. He left without his cell phone and never returned. Zach's family had difficulty getting law enforcement to help and they organized their own searches for Zach. When his body was found the family wasn't notified where he was found until July 28th and didn't discover cause of death until they received the death certificate. Cause of death was determined to be gunshot wounds.

Zach leaves behind a daughter and a partner, along with his family and loved ones. He is remembered as a loving and caring person who went out of his way to help people. Music was a great passion of his and it helped him process the death of his brother who passed away from a car accident in 2015. Zach also enjoyed cooking and watching his favorite football teams. Zach is of the Dine' Nation. In 2019, Zach was arrested and convicted of drug charges and was put on probation as a result. At the time of his disappearance and murder he had been struggling with drug dependence.

Zach's family and loved ones continue to fight for justice in his murder. If you have any information to help them in that fight please call the Albuquerque FBI field office at (505) 889-1300. Any information is helpful.

Dear Droplets!

We had every intention of making an episode happen this week! Unfortunately, life hit us ALL square in the face, with another round of illness! This time, nobody was spared, and we've all been snotting and sneezing, coughing and wheezing for the last week.

We do have a kicker coming, and then a BIG multipart episode in the SUPER near future, but we have to recoup from this last go around!
