Day 16

A blue belt achievement🦋On this eventful day, myself and many of my team members were graded for their new belts in jiu jitsu🥋It’s amazing to see a huge group of people who graded, especially all of the ladies💪🏼

Day 10

Here was my third jiu jitsu match as a blue belt 💙🥋 This was at Ground Games where many of my team members competed in 💪🏼 During the event I was moved up to the co-main slot! The build up to compete in front of my family, team members, and an entire community of supporters had me nervous! When I think back to the event, I say nervous for what? I put in the hours of training, I had an amazing team who build me up, but in the end nerves are good because it means you care! Once I stepped on the mat, I forgot all about my nerves and was ready to show what I’m made of🔥🙌🏼

I won my armbar front mount!🤩

Day 5
This was the first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu event after the lockdown for the team. Special Rules Match up! No points, 7 minutes and whoever got the most submission at the end of that 7 minutes won. I was Able to get 2 Submissions and win the match!

Day 2
This jiu jitsu match was in north bay and my first time competing against a BJJ blue belt! I was able to get an Armbar to win this match up! 🥋🥋

Today I had a fantastic interview with Alex from Tapout talk🔥 what a great guy to talk about my past competitions, my entire journey in Martial Arts, and my upcoming events 💪🏻 Soo much positivity and support from the group at Tapout talk🤩👏🏻

Throwback Thursday💪

My first competition in Jiu Jitsu was at Budo Open in Sudbury, Ontario at age 10 🔥 I placed second in both no-gi and gi 🥈 Last year I competed at the Budo Open 2022 and achieved a gold medal 🥇 dedication and passion will bring you places and give you the courage to do amazing things🔥

This weekend I will be competing at the Budo Open 2023 for gi and no-gi Jiu jitsu💪 🤼‍♀️
