Our newest short film, "Journey Upon Molly's Path", will receive its world theatrical premiere on Saturday, September 29 at the International House Theater as part of the Philadelphia Film and Animation Festival. Ours is part of the "Red Showcase" from 1:00PM - 2:30PM. Tickets are $10 for 11 short films, and will be available soon!

We're going to print up 11" x 17" copies of the movie poster within the next few weeks. Once they come in, I'd like to get all cast and crew together to sign enough so that everyone who participated can have an original poster with everyone's signatures on it. Everyone who participated will get one free copy of the poster. If you need more for friends/family, they'll be available for a small fee (to help cover the printing cost). If you would like a full-size poster (27" x 40"), let me know - the cost is $31.96 plus $12.96 s/h for a total of $44.92.

We're in! "Journey Upon Molly's Path" is now an Official Selection of the 2012 Philadelphia Film and Animation Festival! We'll be in competition against just 31 other films that were completed and turned in on time as part of the Project Twenty1 Filmmaking Competition. That's just over half of the original number of entrants! Great work to all who participated on Team CrackerHammer this year, and we hope to see everyone out at the Festival at the International House September 27-30!

Finished a rough cut of our Project Twenty1 film late last night. Running time at the moment is 9:57 minutes, just under the 10-minute maximum running time for competition films. I'll have a sample for team members to view by tonight as it goes off to the music team to score the soundtrack.

Today's shoot went great! Beautiful location, wonderful cast and crew and the weather was kind to us (with the exception of a 15-minute thunderstorm). Thanks to all for your dedication and hard work!

We are in the pavilion off the first entrance on constitution. Not by the skate park or the pool.

Base camp for tomorrow's shoot is the pavilion by the skate park. Come in on the entrance off Constitution Avenue. Come to the main check-in table under the pavilion to be registered in. After that, we'll assign you to a group with a lead AD who will walk you through your area. The Base Camp pavilion will be fully stocked with food and drink as long as it lasts. Restrooms are right nearby. Primary shoot location will be along the bike trail across the twin bridges from Base Camp.

Less than 24 hours to go until principal filming commences. Those of you who are confirmed to appear on camera, dress casually and comfortably for an extended duration outdoors. No recognizable logos visible on any clothing - t-shirts are fine, but plain ones without logos only!

All minors must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian who must remain on-set for the duration.

All actors will be processed beginning at 11AM at the main pavilion, where you will sign your release and have your photo taken. You will then be assigned to a wrangler who will take you to your shoot location for rehearsal.

Directors, AD's and Team Wranglers will be identified by "Team CrackerHammer" shirts and ID badges. If you have any questions, please see one of these people.

Here's to a fantastic shoot! See you in the morning!

Still looking for extras for our film shoot this Saturday, August 4. We're looking for anyone who can "JUMP" - circus performers, martial artists, BMX bikers, skateboarders, dancers, cheerleaders, kids who can play leapfrog, basketball and hopscotch phenoms...you name it. If you're available on Saturday from 11AM to 5PM and can hang out with us in a beautiful Bucks County Park, we'll feed you and give you an IMDB film credit. Let us know as soon as possible so we can add you to the list!

Principal photography for our Project Twenty1 film will take place on Saturday, August 4 and Sunday, August 5. Set call at 8:00AM, hoping to wrap by 6:00PM. Specific set locations to be determined based upon the script the team writes this weekend. If you're available either or both days and would like to do a little acting, let us know!

Team CrackerHammer is utterly embracing two cornerstone concepts of Project Twenty1: team filmmaking and "completely from scratch". We have no idea what kind of film we're going to make this year. Our plan is to convene at Casa de CrackerHammer at 6:00PM on Saturday night, hear the secret element and commence brainstorming. If you'd like to be a part of the creative process of conceiving a film, storyboarding a film and scripting a film, let us know ASAP so we buy enough pizza. If you'd like to act or do something behind the scenes, let us know ASAP so we know what characters to write or what our technical possibilities might be.

Team CrackerHammer and 37 other teams from around the world have accepted the challenge to create a short film from scratch in 21 days, based upon a secret element thought up by Joel Hodges, creator of the classic "Mystery Science Theatre 3000". We're ready!
