The first thing that you can notice when you launch the game is the new UI. We completely redesigned the in-game UI to make it more attractive and simple. Changes can be found in the Main Menu and also in HUD.

The Main Menu now includes the redesigned and fully extended Store, where you can buy more than 70 weapons. The Store is divided into 4 categories, assault, support, sniper, and others. The others include secondary, melee, and demolition weapons and in the following patches, it will include also upcoming chests, characters, and items. Weapons in the Store are from various categories with different prices. Here I want to mention a small bug that sometimes occurs when you will buy a weapon. Sometimes the weapon you bought won't show in inventory, if this happens just reload the scene with the retry button in the top right corner. This small bug will be fixed in the near future.

The redesigned menu now includes leaderboards. Finally, you can compete with other players for better in-game statistics. The menu features 4 different leaderboards for XP, Level, Kills, and Wins.

We also added a new Stats panel where you can see all your stats in one place.

The login menu now includes the player-wanted forgot password button, finally, you can reset your password without the need of contacting us. Once you click this button you will receive an email with a reset link from PlayFab. Please make sure to check also your spam folder if you won't receive the reset email.

We added 13 new weapons, most of them are premium ones. Many weapons have now changed stats, some received new models and animations. The future patches will receive even more weapons, we are close to having 100 playable weapons in the game. Some of the weapons cannot be dropped on death on the battlefield anymore. We made this change to make some weapons rarer and also to make battlefields not very flooded.

The update comes also with a small event, you can now play on our winter map - Winter Mansion. This event will last one week, so let's enjoy the gameplay on this map as a celebration of the end of summer! The Winter Mansion map will be again available in December.

And those are the main things that are new in the game! Small patches are planned for September and October, they will include more frequent events and more buyable content so stay updated!

Hello everyone,
We have last minutes before the end of this year (at least here in Slovakia), in the name of Juraj Husek Game Studio I want to thank all of you for your fantastic support through this crazy year, you helped our project a lot and it would not be possible without you! So thank you for your support in 2020 and we wish you only the best to 2021!

As we are ending the year it is time also for some nostalgia, this year was the yet biggest for our project. Here is the short breakthrough:
1. January 2020 - the start of the remaking process
2. March 2020 - the first Pre-ALPHA patch released followed by frequent updates
3. May 2020 - the official ALPHA Release of the game
4. Summer 2020 - 80+ weapons, new database system, new store system, better optimization, new features
5. October 2020 - Steam Early Access Release
6. Autumn 2020 - Frequent updates and important fixes
7. December 2020 - Winter Update and Last Mortem Lite (WebGL)

As we already started this, let me also introduce some of the yearly stats of the whole Last Mortem project. We progressed a lot, it is nearly unbelievable. And we have big plans for the next year, so stay updated big things are coming!

When?
The game can be right now added to your wishlists and the Steam release is going to happen on the 30th of October (10/30/2020)! This release will be followed by our new AD campaign and other promotion actions.

Why Steam?
The biggest advantage of having games on this famous game platform is an easy auto-updating and installing option. No more problems with installation and our Launcher, no more very long updating times! Most of the people are familiar with Steam and its functions so getting the game to your PC will be easier than anytime before! Another important factor is the opportunity to attract more players.

What is going to happen with our current Launcher?
The launcher is going to be as of 10/30/2020 deactivated as we won't need it anymore. Feel free to uninstall it once the game will be out on Steam!

Any specialties?
The first week of Steam release will include Halloween content and also one weapon for FREE only for this week. We have also prepared one small surprise for everyone who played the game during the ALPHA stage (as we are now in BETA), this surprise will be revealed before the Steam launch!

It was a long journey, the Steam release is another challenge that we want to successfully accomplish but this project would not exist without our community. Greetings to everyone, the new patch 1.2.8 was successfully released! We started The end of Summer Sale which includes 2 limited character models - US SpecOps and Soviet Agent only for 1 Credit and they will be available in the Store only until 9/7/2020. The new patch brings you also the new legendary gr***de launcher - Dragon MGL. This demolition weapon now costs only 4000 Credits! We also added a new item - Timed Bomb that can be now picked up in your Inventory!

We give you a chance to play with our WIP (unfinished) helicopter - Little Bird in our Leviathen map. Remember that the development of these vehicles isn't ended but you can try their current stage! We made a decision to lower down the game graphics a bit. We did the huge shader changes, optimized textures, and optimized more 3D models. These graphics changes are most notable in the low in-game settings (disabled shadows, disabled camera effects, disabled blur, low texture quality).

Changes can be seen also in our Store and Inventory system. The Store is now accessible only in the Main Menu and is now divided into 3 sections: 1. Sales, where you can buy rare limited stuff for the small price; 2. Premium/Silver weapons offer; 3. Bronze weapons that can be all bought anytime. In the Inventory, you will see only the equipment you own. We added a new game mode - Gun Race. The last notable change is in the shooting mechanism. Most of the weapons now shoot physical bullets. Every weapon has its own muzzle velocity speed so it's more challenging to play the game. Of course, we fixed tons of different bugs, changed many UI elements and settings. Stay updated!

Our game - Last Mortem is currently unplayable because of important bug fixes.

We added new equipment fixed bugs regarding the Login Menu and Main Menu UI, we changed a few settings and also options. Some weapon stats were changed the same as level settings.

The biggest thing that came with the completely new patch is the Login System! This system gives you an opportunity to make an account and save your progress currently only on your PC Hard drive. It also gives the game another security wall as cheaters can be now banned depending on their IPs. Details about Login System can be found here:

Greetings,

we've just released new patch ALPHA 1.2.1 of our Multiplayer FPS Game - Last Mortem! This patch comes with some great new stuff! The detailed report can be found here: https://jurajhusek.wixsite.com/forum/forum/patches/patch-1-2-1

Firstly, we are announcing that the following week will be Triple XP week! What does that mean? You can reach new levels faster and unlock the weapons faster!

We released Special Offer which includes 3 cool weapons available for a limited time! This patch brings to you also 6 new characters and 1 new Rare hidden weapon! We fixed many bugs, added new content, and changed a few things.

This patch is planned to be available for 1 week (5/29/2020 - 6/5/2020). We still offer you also the Deluxe version of the game that costs only 4€!

The completely new fan-made hobby pirate project made by 1 person is now in development. This upcoming game is going to be an open-world RPG sailing game where you can sail with your ship, choose the flag under which you want to sail, sink enemies, explore islands, find out mysteries, fight with legendary sea monsters and trade. The project is now in the very early stage of development, we will share more images or videos very soon.
