Managing screen time is quite the juggle. The kids are constantly 🎓learning, 📚 reading, and 🎮 playing on screens, making it a real challenge to strike the right balance. It's a bit easier when the sun is shining and you're minutes away from the beach🏖️. But alas, that's not guaranteed. So, how do we navigate this? Well, we're still in the process of figuring it out!

One thing's for sure: wherever we roam, we're always on the lookout for a playground! 🤸‍♂️🌍☀️

Vacation while traveling... who would've thought? We escaped to the clouds at Ba Na Hills! 🌄✨ During our 5-week stay in Da Nang, we saw many colorful places, but this one took the cake. Vietnam might not be my favorite overall, but it's home to some of our best experiences, including this gem. The Golden Bridge is iconic, but the village, gardens, and spectacle made Ba Na Hills a top spot for me. 🌸🌉🏰

Managing our children's needs while being a nomadic family can be challenging. Despite having routines, rewards systems, and dedicated time for connection, feelings of guilt still arise, especially when you're spending significant time at a laptop or working remotely. I often wonder.... is this just parenthood, no matter where you are in the world or how you choose to live, parenthood just comes with its share of balancing acts and moments of guilt.

Reflecting on our experiences is crucial for reaffirming our choice in this nomadic lifestyle. We're committed to continuously questioning and challenging our decision because it's through this process that we grow and evolve. Who knows where this road may lead us next? Embracing the uncertainty is part of the adventure, and we're ready to see where it takes us. 🌍✨

To plan or not to plan...when it comes to digital nomad blogs, you'll always stumble upon the classic advice: "research and plan." But you know what? Some of our finest moments have come from throwing caution to the wind!

However, we aren't that family who just rolls into a new country with a couple of nights booked. Nope, a week is our minimum! and even then stress levels are high. What keeps us on track with accommodation decisions is sticking firmly to our non-negotiables:

Convenience: 🛒🚗🎉 From groceries to transportation and activities, everything needs to be within reach.

Space: 🏠 We're not ones to cramp our style. We require ample breathing room, with at least three bedrooms to avoid turning it into a battlefield!

Workspace & Wifi: 💼📶 The space must be adaptable, but what's non-negotiable is top-notch wifi speed. Hosts can throw in a table and chair, but the connection has to be blazing fast!

Throwing it back to one of our all-time favorite adventures: Doi Inthanon! 🌿 This place is seriously next-level stunning. From mossy rocks at the peak to birdwatchers spotting their feathery friends, it's like something out of a dream. And let's talk about those two towers piercing through the clouds – pure magic! Sure, our driver's van hit a snag, but he swapped it out like a pro. Plus, the kindness of everyone we met in Thailand? Heartwarming. 🇹🇭💫

Throwback Thursday to one of the most awe-inspiring moments of my life: walking with elephants! 🐘

Choosing the right place was crucial, given the controversy surrounding some elephant experiences. We were incredibly lucky to visit a beautiful elephant sanctuary in Thailand. After thorough research, we found the perfect spot.

My most cherished memory? Watching the kids interact with these majestic creatures, feeding them bananas and walking alongside them. It filled me with pride and gave me a courage boost—even though I was absolutely terrified at first! 😱

🍝Food is one of our biggest challenges, especially with picky eaters and allergies like nuts and dairy to consider. After a long day travelling, the thought of searching for a suitable restaurant or grocery store is daunting.🥗

That's why we've started packing easy dinners for travel days. No gourmet feasts here, just simple pasta and sauce. It's a game-changer for us! And if we can toss in some fresh veggies for a quick salad, it's a total win.

🌟 Embracing chaos with a touch of strategy! 🌟 My husband and I couldn't be more different when it comes to planning ahead. While I thrive on going with the flow, he's the master list maker and strategic thinker. Transitioning into the digital nomad lifestyle over the past 6 months has been quite the journey as we navigate this dynamic while traveling, working, and homeschooling our kids.

How do we manage? Well, let's just say it's a work in progress. There's been constant questioning, moments of exhaustion, and plenty of learning curves along the way. But hey, that's all part of the adventure, right?

We're constantly refining our daily routine, implementing new tools to keep the kids motivated with their learning, and prioritizing daily adventures - even if it's just a trip to the grocery store for our weekly haul. 🛒💼✨

Throwback to our epic Marble Mountain adventure in Vietnam! 🌏 After exploring countles temples in Thailand, we were quite surprised by the neon trimmed statues and demon sculptures hidden in cave crevices!

We learnt a valuable life lesson on this trip - never climb a set of stairs without knowing where they lead! 😱After an arduous climb with two youngsters, with little regard for health and safety, we found ourselves on a small outcrop of the mountain where a tiny temple lay. The realization that the only way out was to climb back down was a shock, and the vivid memory of an elderly lady's face when she came to the same realization will stay with us forever. 😅

In the span of 7 months, across 3 countries🌍, and amidst the whirlwind of 22 hotels and 22 Airbnb stays🏠 , our journey has been an exhilarating rollercoaster packed with adventure and discovery.

From the serene beaches of Phu Quoc (🌴Vietnam) to the majestic snow-capped peaks in Hakuba (🏔️Japan), we've embraced an journey of epic proportions, albeit with a few hiccups along the way.
