GREEN WOODWORKING WORKSHOP SATURDAY 29 JULY 9.30 - 1.30 🌲⛏🐓

We are very lucky to have our own Joe Keppie-Bray running this practical and educational workshop here at Bath City Farm.

The course will include learning about the types and nature of various types of wood as you select and cut the piece of wood you will then carve. Using a number of hand tools, you will carve out your own spatula to take home and use for years to come.

Please bring a packed lunch or the farm café will be open. A small snack and drinks will be provided. This is a hands-on physical activity including walking into the woods on uneven ground. Please dress weather appropriately. If you have any additional needs, please reach out to the farm and we can discuss how to support your access to the workshop.

Saturday 28th May
10am to 1pm
Chipping Sodbury Sports Centre, Bowling Hill, Chipping Sodbury, BS37 6ES

The seminar/grading is open to all adult/junior licenced P.U.M.A. members (Not including LPs).
The seminar has been designed for any student to attend and gain new skills from beginner to advanced levels.
The seminar will include basic techniques and line work, sparring and pad work, patterns, and basic self-defense with a Jang B**g. A grading is also included. If a beginner shows aptitude then it is possible to pass the first few grading’s at the seminar. Instruction is with Master Ogborne VII and Mr Daniel Ashmead V.

The Cost is £25 for the seminar, or £40, which includes the seminar and the grading.
On completion of the grading students will receive a certificate and progress card to put in their licence book. Students will also receive a Bo staff badge to reflect their new grade which is worn on left sleeve of their Dobok. These will be sent at a later date when all the information is collected.

Your martial art suit or red Jang B**g suit must be worn on the day.
On the last seminar places filled within two weeks so please be prompt if you wish to reserve a place, places will be filled on a first come first served basis.
