DEV NOW: (11:30P) Armed robbery reported at a store in the 2500 block of Shorter Ave in W Rome. The suspect is described as a black male about 5' 9" wearing a black mask, black jacket, black hoodie, jeans and white shoes. The suspect fled on foot toward the Raceway at Huffaker Rd. A tracking dog is on the way.

DEV NOW: (10:55P) RFD & PD are investigating a suspicious vehicle fire, described as likely intentional, under a carport near a structure at a location on Flora Ave in S Floyd.

Upon arrival, RFD reported that a person at the residence who extinguished the fire needed EMS for smoke inhalation.

RFD described the fire as starting in the bed of the truck moving toward the front. It was later revealed that a person was seen fleeing the scene but had dropped a few items and was believed to still be in the area.

(9:25P) A person has walked up to RFD station nine on Burlington Rd in N Floyd with a gunshot injury with no exit wound and has gone unresponsive along with a second person with a hand wound from a bullet. This was described as a hunting accident while 'horseplaying' in the woods.

DEV NOW: (10:25P) Vehicle chase in progress from Brown Fox Dr running stop signs, then onto Billy Pyle Rd, then Anders Rd, then ending with an MVA in the 50 block of Rooney Rd in W Rome. All occupants described as juveniles bailed out and fled on foot headed through the woods into the back side of Alto Park school's property.

DEV NOW: (12:45A) An attempted carjacking was reported at a location on Boulder Dr in Garden Lakes in W Rome. The report stated that a female was followed home by four people in a black SUV that fled the scene after the brief encounter. It was then revealed that this actually happened two hours before it was reported but video may be available for PD to review.

TRAFFIC ALERT: (12:25A) MVA-i 90° rollover reported on Huffaker Rd at Big Texas Valley Rd in W Floyd. The driver initially reported no injuries but that was not the case. He later revealed to PD that he was ejected a few feet during the rollover.

TRAFFIC ALERT: (5:25P) The traffic signals are flashing red on the loop at Riverside Pkwy with traffic backed up for days in all directions. It looks like a great migration free-for-all with Zebras and Wildebeest at the croc-filled river's edge starting and stopping out of sync because everybody forgot the procedure while a PD unit sits and watches the disaster unfold.

(10:40P) Not one but three black snakes reported in the foyer of an apartment in the Ashland Park complex. The snakes were reported to be aggressive toward the resident kids and the caller still has eyes on the serpents until help arrives.

DEV NOW: (12:55A) PD has stopped a truck after a short pursuit in the area of Longmeadow Dr and Mathis Dr in Garden Lakes in W Rome. The silver truck has blue/purple accent lights under the body and in the wheel wells. The truck was first reported to be driving down Elliot Dr swerving into several residents' yards, possibly hitting a home and nearly hitting another driver.
