I watched Guru Nanak Jahaz today with my papa, my brother Aad Sach, and my little sister Rut Suhavi.

It’s not just a movie. It’s a story that made me feel so many things I’ve never felt before.

Tarsem Jassar played Bhai Mewa Singh Lopoke — I had goosebumps watching him. He stood for what was right, even when it meant giving up his life. Gurpreet Ghuggi as Baba Gurdit Singh showed us what real leadership looks like. And the man who played William Hopkinson made me so angry — how could people treat us like that just because we were brown and wore turbans?

I’m proud to be a Sikh. And today, that pride got even stronger.

Thank you to everyone who made this movie. Every Sikh kid should watch Guru Nanak Jahaz. We need to know where we come from.

A moment I’ll always remember.
Meeting Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji Sri Nagar Wale — the same voice I’ve heard as Gurbani Shabad Kirtan, in our car, and every Sunday at home — now honoured with the Padma Shri by the President of India.

My little sister Rut Suhavi felt so calm in his arms. My brother Aad Sach and I stood quietly, just taking it all in.

It didn’t feel like we were meeting someone famous.
It felt like we were meeting someone our souls already knew.

Dhann Guru Nanak Sahib Ji.
Dhann Bhai Sahib Ji.
May we grow up walking the path of Simran, Seva and Sat.

ਸਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਸਾਰੇਆਂ ਨੂੰ! 🙏
ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੰਮੀ-ਪਾਪਾ, ਦਾਦਾ-ਦਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਭੈਣ-ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਚਖੰਡ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਥਾਂ ’ਤੇ, ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਇੱਕਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਲਿਆ।
ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਤਿ, ਸਰੋਵਰ ਦੇ ਸਹੀਜ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ—ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਸੀ!
ਮੇਰੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਭੈਣ ਰੁਤ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾ ਆਦਿ ਸਚ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ।
ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਣ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਭ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇ! 🙏
