Earlier, the Cape Coast constituency wing of the PPP led by the party’s parliamentary candidate, Mrs. Sarah Ewuresi Bucknor, presented two crates of soft drinks, a crate of beer, one bull and an undisclosed amount of money to the chiefs on behalf of Dr. Nduom to support the chiefs in festival celebration.
Receiving the items, the Omanhene of Oguaa Traditional Council, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, who was full of admiration for Dr. Nduom, said he was not surprised by Dr. Nduom’s kindness to them every year during the festival celebration.
“I and my chiefs are very grateful for your continuous support because even if you are not around when it’s time for the festival, you always delegate people to donate to us on your behalf,” he disclosed.
Osabarima also commended Dr. Nduom for promising to build a community center for the people of Cape Coast, saying they believe he will fulfil his promise.
He advised the PPP delegation who accompanied him to the Emintimadze palace to emulate him and conduct their campaign clean of abusive language to ensure peaceful elections.
A special libation was later poured for Dr. Nduom and his entourage which included his wife, Mrs. Yvonne Nduom.
