I am getting prettyyyyyy prettyyyyyy excited to head to Europe this summer. Confirming all gigs and dates is still in the works, and hoping I can share em with you all as soon as possible. In the meantime, here’s a photo by the incredible of me wearing a crew neck by the amazing - one of my favorite clothing brands hands down, at THE dopest venue / creative space in LA .one ❤️‍🔥 but more importantly, before I make my way to Europe I’ll be playing .live on May 6th alongside so many amazing artist, impeccable lineup they’ve put together for that weekend. Born into a musical family in Iceland, Duchess grew up living rhythm and melody. Growing up with most close family members as full time musicians, she reveals a musical taste and her style is versatile, experimental and unafraid.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, her playful, genre-bending sets started leaving people very interested, and she quickly rose up the ranks of becoming a household name in the underground scene. Sculpting her ethereal sound with emotion, raw. percussion and melody, combined with both electronic and acoustic instruments, Duchess has an organic way of delivering a unique blend of sounds and engaging with the crowd, as the necessity of diversity throughout a set comes natural in an exceptionally smooth and gradual way. While channeling her European state of mind through her sets, she never fails to make people move on the dance floor. The last year she has been working mainly on herself, and on Productions and Remixes and new Collaborations and we will listen to her unreleased Track 'Clarity' in this Set for Cavalli and are looking forward to her debut in L.A. for Circoloco ...

After sharpening her skills behind the decks and in the studio, she quickly rose up the ranks to become a household name in the scene, and is currently one of the top female DJs in the Los Angeles area. Inspired by artist such as, Be Svendsen, Andhim, Maceo Plex and Icelandic band GusGus to name a few, Duchess has played parties such as SBCLTR LA, Deep Space, Minimal Effort, opening for Artists such as Chaim, Be Svendsen, The Soul Brothers, Britta Arnold and The Scumfrog. This year she continues to play festivals around the globe including Lightning In A Bottle and Art With Me in Tulum. Sculpting her ethereal sound with emotion, Duchess aims to make people move on the dance floor all the while with a smile on their face.
