Destiny 2 (2)
When I tell a lot of people that my wife and I play video games together most nights, I get mixed reactions. Some people say "Thats so awesome" and others laugh or look at me like "What the heck?". But this is what video games and Destiny 2 is all about. We met Tasher in a clan on Destiny. A clan is a group of people that play together and work towards common goals in the game. We had played with Tasher in different activities with other clan members, but really got to know him when he jumped into some games with us while my wife and I were stuck and stressed out at the hospital with our daughter for over a week with a UTI and a pandemic breathing down our necks outside. We were scared and stressed and worried. Playing with Tasher at nights became our only sense of normalcy. Since then we have played with Tasher atleast 5 nights a week during the pandemic. We have laughed, cried, been frustrated about Covid, been exhausted and stressed from no sleep, talked to eachother when one of us is sick, but most of all enjoyed eachothers company while feeling isolated from so many other things in life. Meeting new people from all over the world and all different places is what online gaming is all about. Yes you must be safe, just like with anything else in life, but you open the door to a whole new world. You meet people from all over and learn things while exploring imaginary worlds together. If you've never tried online gaming, I would encourage you to give it a try. If you already game, go meet new people, widen your circle. As they say in Destiny
"Eyes up Gaurdian!"
