Currently reading my way through these works of art in preparation for my series of videos on The Stand. Some of the illustrations in these books are absolutely gruesome and the storyline is predominantly loyal to that of the novel. The narrative tends to bounce between characters and settings fairly rapidly, however it does make for a nail bitingly fast paced experience.
