Yesterday was my last wedding event for 2023 and while taking this photo, I really got teary eyed (yes while nasa event) pero happy tears syempre 🥹😂
For those who didn’t know how I started POV Lens, in May 2023 while I’m planning our wedding and juggling my passion creating travel/lifestyle content plus my corporate job 😄 sabi ko “Paano sa wedding namin, sino kukuha ng videos eh need ko sa vlog.” Yung mga friends ko ayoko maistorbo kasi meron dyan iiyak, tatawa magisa, at paparty” At 3am ng June 5 sabi ko kay Gelo, kung gusto ko ng content for my wedding baka may brides din na gusto for their memories. Gagawin ko na ‘to need ko lang ng name at ang antok ko na si Gelo that time para mapatigil ako sa another business idea sa oras na ng tulog namin sumagot “Sige na start mo na! Amazing Joyce” then slept. Buti na lang hindi tumigil ang creative juices, was able to do my vision, package and confidently posted sa wedding group. At ang dami niyo agad na nag book kahit wala pa akong sample works 🥹
Kaya kahapon when I realized na last wedding ko na for 2023 napayuko na lang ako then prayed “Lord thank you kinaya ko kasi gusto kong gawin to “🤍 I love being part of weddings kasi iba yung effort ng couple to make their dream day into reality and dedication of all the suppliers who work really hard to make a good event. Wedding is no joke. 14-19 hours work ito sa isang araw 😊
So ayun just want to say thank you to all POV Lens clients for including us in your special events and making my 3am dream into reality. I’m really grateful to work with all the best people in the industry na mas nakaka taba ng puso kapag ngiti agad ang hello pag nagkita kami na “uy tayo magka work ulit” and yung kahapon who even mentioned sa bride na first time ko makita na “magaling yan” 🫶🏻
For those who are dreaming of creating a passion project in any form at nagtatanong kelan ba dapat mag simula - THE BEST DAY TO DO IT IS TODAY. And the secret to a business’ success is gawin ito lagi ng may PUSO! Gawin mo na ng buong giliw. 🤍
