Why Net Neutrality Is Important To YOU
Comcast, Verizon and AT&T want to end net neutrality so they can control what we see & do online. First, they want to gut FCC rules in a December 14 vote. Then, they plan to pass bad legislation that allows extra fees, throttling & censorship. But Congress can put a stop to all of this. Write them first, then call!

Apple iPhone 8 Plus Review [Better Than iPhone X?]
Apple has been hard at work this year catching up with industry trends. While the release of the iPhone 8 was exciting it felt more like we were getting features many phones already have. With all of that said this is the best iPhone yet with a more powerful processor, long lasting battery, and wireless charging.

Review - Apple AirPods (Why I'm Returning Them)
For me the Apple AirPods are a double edged sword. They're incredibly convenient to take with me everywhere I go but the fact they aren't well secured and let in a lot of ambient noise keeps me from wanting to have them for the long term.

Everyone Should Get A Portable Power Bank
I travel a lot, I also bring many devices on the road with me as I travel. If I were to get dedicated battery cases for all of my devices that I bring with me I would be spending hundreds of dollars. Instead invest in a quality portable power bank that will last you longer than most of your devices.

Should You Buy First Generation Technology?
There is always a risk involved when buying first generation technology that has just launched. Case in point the recent screen burn in issues with the Pixel 2 XL, there's also attennagate, and of course the Galaxy battery issues.
Is there really something to be said if you buy the first generation technology or is it something that you should hold off for?
Is It Illegal To Get Up When The 'Fasten Seat Belt' Sign Is On...
When flying the age old question pops up: Can you get up when the 'Fasten Seat Belt' sign is on? We see it pretty much every time we fly, just seconds after takeoff and someone is already up trying to use the bathroom or wants to get something out of the overhead bins.
According to federal law it is illegal to get up when the 'Fasten Seat Belt' sign is on and you can be prosecuted for it if the airline really wants to press charges.
The Law (see section f): https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/121.317
The fact is however that most airlines don't enforce the law but rather inform you of it, reasons of which are explained in the video.

My Credit Card Was Stolen - How To Protect Yourself If Your Cr...
My credit card was stolen out of my mailbox, the criminal tried buying thousands of dollars with the card. Unfortunately for them my credit card company took care of it for me. But what should you do if your credit card or identity is stolen?
You should also get your free credit report and check it for errors. The best site is https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ as it gives you free access to your report and is sponsored by the government. You get it free every year
You should freeze your 3 bureau credit reports from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.
Lastly you should signup for free credit monitoring from CreditKarma or Experian so that you get email and phone alerts if your credit is pulled. Don't pay for credit monitoring, everything you need can be gotten for free.
One Week With The iPhone 8 Plus & Apple Watch Series 3
It's been such a short time since Apple released the iPhone 8 and Apple Watch Series 3 to the public and I want to do my initial thoughts after having owned and being using the devices as my daily driver since it was released.
I'll also share why I think the iPhone 8 Plus could be better in some ways, why I didn't get the Apple Watch Series 3 cellular version, and more!
WHY I SWITCHED FROM MAC TO WINDOWS
It's always a big decision to switch your main operating system from macOS to Windows and that's just what I've done. It's come to a point where macOS isn't the best operating system anymore. You can get good quality Windows computers that are just as powerful as a MacBook Pro for a lot less money.
DON'T BUY THE iPHONE X
It's simply not worth it, don't give Apple your money for a screen with a part of it cut out. We all know this is not OK for Apple to do and you need to stand up against #NotchGate. Apple clearly doesn't know that they were thinking with the iPhone X.
Thoughts - iPhone X, iPhone 8, Apple Watch Series 3, & Apple T...
Today Apple announces a brand new iPhone as well as upgraded others in their lineup. First up was the brand new iPhone X which I'm not too thrilled about, it has a $1000 price tag and just doesn't seem worth it for a phone of that price. They also updated the iPhone to the iPhone 8 which now has a glass back to promote wireless charging on devices coming soon by Apple. They also updated the Apple Watch with cellular capability which I'm not too sure a watch like that really needs. And lastly a brand new Apple TV that now supports 4K.
