As we welcome the first day of August, we also celebrate the ancient festival of Lughnasadh (pronounced Loo - Nah - Sah) also known as Lammas. This festival marks the beginning of the harvest season, honoring the Celtic god Lugh and giving thanks for the abundance of the land.

Lughnasadh is a time of reflection, gratitude, and abundance. It is a time to reap what we have sown, both in our physical and spiritual lives. As we gather together to celebrate this sacred day, let us give thanks for the blessings in our lives and set intentions for the coming harvest.
