We believe that movies are a huge part of the American fabric, and have a strong impact on our culture. The images and messages of the films that we watch influence our thinking, beliefs and understanding of the world around us. Because of this, Windchime Pictures creates content that will have a redemptive influence on our audience and our culture. In the world today, there is ba
d news all around us and life can often seem hopeless. Unfortunately, some of the movies we watch can reinforce these feelings of discouragement in our lives. Because of this, Windchime Pictures strives to inspire and encourage its audience with stories of redemption. We believe that redemptive themes reflect the heart of God. This is to say that God’s heart toward humanity is to mend the brokenhearted, to bring joy where there is pain and to bring peace where there is turmoil. Additionally, we want our films to function more like a parable opposed to a sermon. The parables of Jesus compelled his audience to reflect, ask questions and ponder the mysteries of God. Our desire is to have our films function in the same way. Redemptive films are what we enjoy. Therefore, we want to create movies that we would want to see ourselves. Over the years, filmmakers have moved away from what was once called “the Hollywood ending” – where a positive resolution came about at the end of the film. Yet, there is a rising reaction against this trend as studies show that people want to see redemptive stories. Audiences want to see that beauty can rise out of the ashes. They want to see stories that give them a sense of hope in their own struggles that they face in life. We do too and that’s why Windchime Pictures makes redemptive movies!

On August 18, Windchime Pictures will announce the title of its next movie! We will also launch the film's website, page and video blog, which will give the latest updates on the movie. We greatly appreciate your prayers and support as we work toward our mission: "Creating Redemptive Films that Matter".
Currently, we are in the development phase of our next movie! We have the script, key crew positions, amazing shooting locations, and many divinely opened doors. We will be sharing more about this project in the near future on our website – so stay tuned!

Good news everyone! We are deep into the development process of our next [yet to be titled] film!
What does that mean exactly? Well, here' s what we've accomplished so far:
1 - Our screenplay's third draft is finished and is getting great feedback from test readers.
2 - Producer, Marshall O. Wells III, has joined the Windchime Pictures team as our new Vice President of Operations.
3 - Our new website is up and running! Soon we will be adding a blog to the page which will give the latest info on our projects.

Out of 600+ film submissions from 57 countries, "Redemption of the Commons" won 2nd place at the Hwy 61 International Film Festival. We are looking forward to November when the film will be released!

"Congratulations" to Redemption of the Commons for winning the Award of Excellence at the Indie Fest Film Awards in California! The DVD release will take place in mid-November. Also, stay tuned for theatrical release dates and theater locations.

The production team just finished our theater test! It's looking fantastic! We're also excited to announce that we have two television interviews coming up this week on Channel 4 and Channel 7.
