A true legend of the UnderGround Film Festival passed away this week. Mick Fitzgerald was a consummate professional in his long acting and music career, but more over he was a friend. Each year he made the journey from Dublin to Cork to be present on our awards night. Fittingly the short "Still Life" in which Mick starred, won our Best National Short Award in 2015.
A true character and ever a gentleman, you will be sorely missed.
